2-1-1 Big Bend News

July 2011

Dear  ,

Randy Photo
Randy Nicklaus, President
Thanks for subscribing to our 2-1-1 Big Bend electronic newsletter.  If you have any suggestions for future editions please send me an email.

July is the beginning of our new fiscal year.  That means we have new board officers, a new budget and exciting plans to serve the community during the upcoming 12 months.  In order to accomplish our annual goals we must raise funds in new and creative ways.  Our budget is leaner and not nearly enough.  As we tighten our belt, please remember to support us with financial and in-kind donations and put Saturday, April 21, 2012 on your calendar - it is the date of our annual fundraising event.

Congratulations to our new board officers and executive committee for 2011-2012:
Allison Harrel, chair; Cori Bauserman, vice chair; Al Pasini, chair-elect; R. Jai Gillam, secretary, Polly White, treasurer,   Charlie Belvin, marketing chair; Sharon Ross Donaldson, program chair; and Renee McNeill, planning chair.

New Web site Launched

After many hours of work we are proud to announce that our new and improved Web site, www.211BigBend.org, is up and running! Please take a few minutes to check it out and provide feedback. Many thanks to the 2-1-1 Big Bend team who helped us make this transition completely in-house and within our budget!
