Assistant Rabbi Search Committee
Update of the Week
This week we reviewed applications from eight previously-ordained candidates. We then interviewed two of them via Skype, and invited a third to have a Skype interview soon. This coming week, the committee chair, the rabbi, and two committee members will be going to NYC to interview 14 to-be-ordained candidates at JTS on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The next full committee meeting is in the process of being scheduled for the 26th-ish of February, at which we hope to decide which candidates to invite to visit our community in March.

Please join us for our annual Jewish Women's Morning at the Capitol (JWMC) on Tuesday, March 6, from 8:45am-noon. JWMC empowers advocates of all ages to engage in the political process for the first or fiftieth time. The event begins with an educational session where participants learn about political issues and then how to communicate effectively their positions. Then, participants meet with their Senators and Representatives in groups comprised of passionate, articulate women who energize each other and make memorable impressions on their elected policy makers. The event is free and is co-sponsored by the National Council of Women Greater Mpls & St. Paul and Upper Midwest Region of Hadassah.
