Greetings!
What a beautiful Spring!! We hope you're taking your homeschooling outside this time of the year. We're working hard in the office but the windows are sure open! Here's what we're up to... |
New School Year...
May 16th marks the beginning of the new academic school year, 2010/2011!! Keep in mind this "new beginning" refers to the new administrative year, not necessarily your new teaching year. You may still finish the previous school year. Take the time you need! And you may begin the 10/11 anytime as well, provided you "attend" at least 180 days in the course of the year. A notice with instructions will be sent to you on May 16th. Just follow the simple steps and you'll be all set for another year with HomeLife Academy. If you pre-registered for the 2010/2011 school year you will not recieve the notice on May 16th because you're already set for another year. Click here if you would like to read the instructions now. |
Faster Back Office...
We grew and grew and the more we grew the slower our Member Login area and the staff's back office got. So last month we upgraded to a stronger, faster, and smarter system. You should notice the difference when you login this summer at www.homelifeacademy.com!! |
NEW PHONE SYSTEM
With the amazing growth we've experienced in the last three years, we are constantly trying to find new ways to answer all your calls and ensure that you always get a person on the other end. We are trying a new system this year in the Records Office which will potentially allow us to do away with voicemail and answer every call, even if there is a short wait. However, our counselors still work from their home offices around their own homeschooling schedules so we will keep their voicemail in place. If you leave them a message, please allow them a couple of days to return your call. As before, we plan to keep our menu system short and to the point so we can get to your call and answer your questions! And that way you can get back to doing what is most important to us... leading your kids into a life-long love of learning! |
