Memphis-area Home Education Association Graduation Information
Reminder to the Classes of 2009 and 2010 ---- MHEA Student/Parent meeting
will be held this Saturday at Bellevue.
We will meet in rooms F-241 and
F-245 at 9:00a.m.
Information will be given out to both junior and senior parents regarding preparations for your final 2 years of school. There will be a Connections party for all junior and senior students with actives designed so you can
fellowship with other classmates at the same time. For more information contact Graduation@MemphisHomeschool.org
The Mid-South Home Educators Graduation planning committee will be meeting 6:00
p.m. on Thursday, September 25, at Perks in Atoka (139 Wesley Reed Road).
(Bring money for drinks/frozen custard.)

Deadlines:
The deadline to have Sr. pictures taken at Holland is Sept. 30.
The deadline to have hard copy Sr. pictures, taken by a different
photographer, submitted to the yearbook staff for inclusion into the
(all color) yearbook is October 15. All Sr. pictures must be submitted with a Sr. Picture Submission form. Please email yearbook@memphishomeschool.org to have that sent to you.
The deadline to have Sr. ads submitted to the yearbook staff is Oct. 31.

The deadline for MHEA graduates participating in the MHEA
graduation to purchase a yearbook with their free name-stamp on the
front is Dec. 10.
Sr. Pictures: Holland Studio,
362-1818, is the official photographer for the MHEA yearbook and
events. If you are graduating with MHEA, we do need all graduates to
have at least a Basic sitting with Holland. (This will play into a
presentation for all graduates at graduation.)
Sr. Pictures in the Yearbook: The
yearbook picture is your choice. All students photographed at Holland
will have their choice photo automatically sent to the yearbook staff.
However, if you want a different picture, or a picture from a different
photographer, you will need to submit that picture (vertical,
wallet-sized) to the yearbook staff. All Seniors must submit a Sr.
Picture Submission form (attached) and it must be completely filled
out.
Please email yearbook@memphishomeschool.org to have that sent to you.
Yearbook purchase: Due to the high cost of printing, yearbooks
must be pre-purchased to guarantee delivery in May. For a yearbook
order form, please email yearbook@memphishomeschool.org to
have it emailed to you. Cost until Nov. 10 is $35.00; cost from Nov.
10-Dec. 10 is $40.00. December 10 is the deadline to order a yearbook.
MHEA Honor Society Seniors: You will need to be photographed, through Holland, a Royal Blue cap/gown picture wearing the gold MHEA honor society collar. Honor Society members have a special page honoring them.
Candids: The yearbook staff strives to cover all MHEA events and
to highlight as many students as possible. In preparation for your big
year, please set your digital camera on the highest resolution
possible, and start snapping your Sr. events! We need pictures of you
schooling, Dual Enrollment, college visits, gathering with your
friends, sports activities, service projects, trips, awards,
classes......you get the idea! Please digitally label each picture with
the student's name and grade and email them to Deskmom1@aol.com or yearbook@memphishomeschool.org.
Please pass this email on to any seniors you know; we want to make
sure all parents and students have the information they need to make
their Sr. year memorable!
