Face-A-Firming Yoga

Plastic surgery is not only expensive, but involves risks, including the possibility of dying.

Injectibles, such as Botox, paralyze and can atrophy muscles, must be renewed regularly, and are costly treatments.Face yoga

What can we do to slow down, even reverse the signs of aging?

As we age, our skin begins to sag, our lips thin, and wrinkles develop as gravity takes its toll.

Face Yoga is a series of facial exercises and movements designed to tone, lift and rejuvenate skin and muscle. These areas include the forehead, eyes, lips, cheeks, jaw & neck.

Face-A-Firming Yoga exercises are designed to target muscles from the neck and above to help improve overall appearance, increase circulation to the face, de-stress, and helps one to have a natural, non-invasive, low-cost, no-risk face lift.

The yoga of facial exercises is being able to look in the mirror and to be okay with who we are and where we are at.  The yoga is learning to accept ourselves as we are and let our divine light shine through.

Face yoga is guaranteed to make you laugh, and done with regularity, will improve your facial tone and appearance.

Sandy Kline

Presenter:

Sandy Kline retired from her previous job after 24 years and then made yoga the focus of her second career.  She began teaching face yoga as part of the yoga class and was amazed at the desire of the participants to learn more.

Sandy, along with three yogini partners, developed Face-A-Firming Yoga after seeing the results and knowing that improving one's facial appearance can enhance and improves one's life.  Response to face yoga has been positive and up-lifting, both in terms of the involvement of the students and the results of each person's efforts.

You can reach Sandy at info@faceafirmingyoga.com, or call 303-905-9100.  See our website at Face-A-Firming Yoga

PRESIDENT'S CORNER

    "Lost and Found"

I got lost Saturday. Frustratingly lost. On my way to Tysu Jung's wonderful YTOC presentation at her sweet studio in Evergreen, no less.

Lost.

A couple of months ago, as I was pre-

paring to travel to a state I'd never visited before and was excitedly anticipating discovering new places and seeing new landscapes, I took a "straw poll" in my classes:  "Do you look forward to the opportunity to get a little lost sometimes in your life?"  Some students admitted that they enjoy the adventure, but most said they avoid it like the plague if at all possible.

On my own, exploring new territory, no time constrictions, getting lost feels like an adventure that opens my eyes, heightens my senses and allows me to release my desire to be in control of my experience, if    only for a little while. It's freeing. It's fun.

Getting lost this past Saturday was most definitely not fun.

My delightful passenger, new to both Colorado and YTOC, tried her best to help me regain my orientation and my sanity. Finally, cell phone to the rescue, we made contact and realized just how close we were to our destination--just across the road, standing atop the hill, arms waving madly, "I see you! You're almost here!" reassured our guiding angel.

By that time, however, I'd crossed that proverbial line that informs me I'm not in a particularly "yogic" frame of mind anymore. My ego was arrayed in full battle gear and I was anything but "allowing" the moment to just be as it was.

"Not until we are lost do we begin to understand

                ourselves."

                                          --Henry David Thoreau

What a gift, then, to enter Tysu's beautiful space filled with welcoming YTOC yoginis energetically inviting us to come onto our mats, breathe, and let go the battle.

"If you don't get lost sometime, there's a chance

                 you may never be found."

                                                      --Anonymous

There is something so very special about this community of diverse,

dedicated yogins, something that welcomes its members from all yoga

paths; longtime and brand new; calm and centered or, like me last Saturday, temporarily in the throes of life's crazy-making challenges.  A welcome, extended in so many different ways, that says, "I see you! You're here now, in the company of like-spirited souls. Come. Let's be in our yoga together."

If you've been feeling a little "lost" of late, disconnected from your YTOC organization; if you've never ventured to a monthly YTOC program or special event; know that, when you DO find your way, there will always be a warm "Welcome! We're glad you're here!" awaiting your arrival.

Hope to see you soon!

A fellow traveler on the Path,

Jeanne
