Happy New Year! We hope your 2012 is off to a great start. Here at United Way St. Croix Valley we are hopeful that the new year will bring increased assistance to our funded agencies and new opportunities for growth. What about you? story1Local Swim Clubs Support Food Resource Center     

Hudson Area Swim Association (HASA) and River Falls Swim Club (RFSC) held a dual swim meet in Hudson on Dec. 20, 2011 and did a peanut butter drive for the United Way St. Croix Valley Food Resource Center. 86 jars of peanut butter were donated.

Do you have a New Year's resolution related to volunteering? HealthPartners was a top corporate supporter of United Way St. Croix Valley through the 2010 fall campaign. The organization and its employees gave more than $14,500 to United Way St. Croix Valley, with a significant amount coming from Westfields Hospital in New Richmond.

 

HealthPartners is a nonprofit HMO based in Minnesota, offering a variety of health care plans for individuals, groups and Medicare. It is the largest consumer-governed nonprofit health care organization in the United States. Westfields Hospital offers emergency room services, inpatient and outpatient care, maternity care, specialty clinics and a primary care clinic.
