Holiday greetings from our Executive Director
As 2009 comes to end, Bethesda Green says Thank you.
Thank you for your
creative ideas, encouraging words, generous time and support.
Thank you for your
cooperation, service and trust -- in a year full of change and challenge.
Thank you for helping
us make a difference.
This past year, Bethesda Green:
In 2010, we want to do more. With a qualified volunteer team in place and a newly defined focus on Economic Vitality, Environmental Stewardship and Community Engagement and Education, we are ready to meet the demands.
This year we are launching our "groundbreaker" program. It's a commitment to make Bethesda Green sustainable so we continue to make the community a better place to live and work.
If
each individual (over 3500 in our database) contributes $50, we can
continue to build a healthy green economy and promote sustainable
living practices.
Help us plant the seeds for a sustainable future. You can do your part by becoming a "groundbreaking" member of the Bethesda Green team. Make a donation online or send a check to 4825 Cordell Avenue, Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20814.
Thank you and have a great holiday.

E-cycling this Sunday
Recycle your unwanted electronic items Sunday, Dec. 13, noon - 4 pm at Walt Whitman High School.
Note that the information flyer sent earlier with week incorrectly listed the county telephone number to call for more information. The correct number is 240-777-6560. We regret any confusion caused by the mistake.
Also note, this event goes on, rain or shine. However, if snow becomes a factor, the County may decide to close the school property. If you have any question Sunday morning about closings, call the County hotline, 240-777-2706.
