Dejavoo Announces Unified Payments Point of Sale Terminal
State-of-the-art, near-field communications enabled desktop point of sale terminal
and Unified Payments announced today their production plans for an OEM label of Unified Payments point-of-sale terminals ("Unified Payments V8"). Unified Payments V8 is a Contactless, Near-Field Communications ("NFC") enabled, Dual-communication terminal from the Dejavoo V Series POS product line. Unified Payments point-of-sale terminals will be available in Unified Payments and Process Pink brands; installations are expected to start as early as May 1, 2012.
Fueled by a 32 bits high-speed microprocessor, Core 32-bit architecture, Linux based OS and My SQL database, the new contactless, NFC, dual-communication point-of-sale terminal from Dejavoo will enable Unified Payments merchants to serve shoppers faster and deliver value-added applications on a large, easy to read, backlight display. Unified Payments V8 point-of-sale terminal will offer the highest degree of security available and is PCI PED 2.0 Certified, EMV 4.0 L1 and L2 Certified. Dejavoo V Series product line of point-of-sale terminals is certified on most major US processors and is powered, serviced and supported by Dejavoo Systems. Unified Payments V8 point-of-sale terminal will be able to process credit and debit transactions via the TSYS terminal-based platform.
Unified Payments' Process Pink point-of-sale terminal will feature Process Pink signature pink color and a pink ribbon identifying its exclusive affiliation with the National Breast Cancer Foundation. When a consumer makes a credit card purchase at a participating merchant, a portion of the transaction is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
"The terminals will expedite Unified Payments' conversion plans of approximately 10,000 terminals, most of which is planned throughout 2012", said Mony Zenou, Dajavoo President and CEO.
