It was Robert Kennedy who said, "Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

We can see and measure, to some extent, the impact that we are having in the dozens of communities we serve at Jamboree. We are changing the perception of what affordable housing is on a much grander scale - with the decision makers who have the ability to move policies and projects forward to truly create change.  Every now and then I see it in their eyes when they tour one of our properties or listen to how we do business.  There really is a wave of changes that is occurring most definitely here in Sothern California and beyond.

It is this wave of change that makes me excited about the next 20 years at Jamboree!  Eight new housing projects are breaking ground this year with over a quarter billion dollars of development activty. We have a running start. 

Jamboree's success in starting many ripples is the result of many intertwining efforts that all must work in sync in order for us to build a current of change. Happy 20th Anniversary! It has truly been my pleasure to serve as President of Jamboree for the past ten years and I look forward to many years to come.
