I'm excited to share two
milestones with you! Jamboree opened its 50th property with Granite
Court in Irvine
and we also launched our new website! Here's a quick snapshot of our 19 years of
success leading up to today:
- Developed 6,000 homes for 15,000 California
residents statewide
- Grew from a staff of one, our founder Lila Lieberthal, to a team of 40
- Providing more than 28,000 resident service hours
through our Housing with HEART (Helping Educate, Activate and Respond
Together) program to nearly 8,000 residents at 36 communities
An extensive two-year
re-branding process now includes our new website. It better reflects Jamboree
today - a powerful affordable housing tool to communicate with current and
potential partners as well as prospective residents. As stewards of public
funds, our website fosters accessibility and accountability in all that we do.
Visit www.jamboreehousing.com
today and give us your feedback.
These are truly successes to
celebrate! Thanks to our many partners who contribute in so many ways to help
us expand our mission and reach our goals.

Grand Opening at Granite Court
More than 160
supporters celebrated the opening of Jamboree's 50th property. Granite Court is home to 71 families who earn between 30% and 60%
of Orange County's area median income.
Jamboree's partner, Advent Construction, added an educational spin to the event
by highlighting Granite's green features using displays and tours. The event
served to recognize Jamboree's accomplishments over the past 19 years as well
as to honor Jamboree's president, Laura Archuleta,
for her 10 years of dedicated service.

Featured Partner
Jamboree's vital partnership
with The City of Irvine spans 19 years. In addition to providing financial
resources to affordable housing developments, the City administers grants
for service organizations, such as Housing with HEART, and the City's home-owner rehabilitation program which has meant new roofs, water heaters, windows and wheelchair ramps for many of the senior home owners at The Meadows in Irvine. The City's Mobile Rec unit provides hours of healthy, active programs for the youth in our communities. Jamboree Day
Housing with Heart's second
annual Jamboree Day was held Saturday,
August 22. Fifteen Jamboree communities enjoyed a community day of sports, games, fitness awareness and
more. To recognize their accomplishments in integrity, discipline,
respectability, tenacity and humanity, each Resident Services Coordinator presented Community Virtue Awards to
two of their residents. Special guest NBA veteran, Lucious Harris, hosted the
event.
Generosity from Union Bank
Jamboree was recently awarded a $20,000 grant from Union Bank to provide
general operating support for Housing with Heart. Our
relationship with Union Bank has been incredibly valuable to us; without it, we
could not have brought two of our recent projects (Granite Court and
Woodbury) to fruition. Many thanks to Union Bank for supporting
the important work we do!
