Welcome Lesley Nelson
Lesley is the newest member of our child nutrition team. She will focus her outreach in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties, helping to expand participation in the Summer Food Service Program and the Afterschool Meals and Snack Program. TAKE ACTION: Be a match-maker
Many children live in communities with no summer feeding program. Some organizations simply don't know they can feed kids and get their food costs reimbursed. Make sure kids don't go hungry this summer by helping us find organizations that can sponsor or host the Summer Food Service Program.

It's not too late to sign up! Summer Food Training
For organizations interested in becoming sponsors of the Summer Food Service Program in 2011, the Oregon Dept. of Education is holding required trainings in early March. Click here to download registration materials or contact Barbara Cracknell at ODE to learn more.
