Take Action today to improve TANF for low-income families!
Considerable evidence points to the benefits that education and training can provide in helping individuals gain employment and increase their wage levels. On April 22nd, the House Ways and Means Committee held a hearing on the role of higher education and the TANF program (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families).

The committee is accepting public comments until May 13th, 2010. This is a great opportunity to elevate the role of higher education in helping TANF households build economic and family stability. Learn how to submit comments.
