we launch this newsletter, we are excited to share with you the many
changes the past year has brought to Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon:
we are settling into a new office, celebrating the launch of our new website, and distributing Oregon's new statewide plan, Ending Hunger Before it Begins: Oregon's Call to Action.
Although
much has been accomplished, our work is more important than ever. We
look forward to a new year and new opportunities to help Oregonians
struggling with hunger. Read below for one way you can get involved!

Nearly one in five Oregon children are food insecure. For more than 60 years, federal children nutrition programs such as school meals, WIC and summer feeding programs have played a vital role in preventing childhood hunger.
