BE AN ANGEL FOR THE DEVILS

 Albany Devils Retention Campaign

Your participation is most welcome!

You may have seen recent media reports about a campaign underway by the Times Union Center to help the Albany Devils Hockey team increase season tickets holders for the upcoming season. As an incentive, if you/your business purchase two season tickets, they will provide you with two additional season tickets free!

Varied quality of life amenities, ranging from cultural to sporting events, are vital to attracting and retaining quality talent in our region. While the Capital Region has been home to an American Hockey League franchise for 19 years, total ticket sales the last two years has placed the Albany Devils attendance last among minor league hockey teams. The Albany Devils haven't indicated that they are planning to leave; however, we realize this is a competitive business and that a number of communities are seeking teams. As an example, the Adirondack Phantoms have announced that they will be leaving Glens Falls after the 2012-2013 season to move the team to a new arena being built in Allentown, PA. Glens Falls has been a community that has strongly supported its hockey team and is now aggressively seeking a replacement team.

Please consider supporting the Albany Devils and our region's quality of life by participating in this retention effort. Here's how it works, purchase two (2) season tickets for $580 each for a total of $1,160 and through this special offer you'll receive two additional season tickets absolutely free. You/your business can have the same seats for all 38 home games or you can have up to 152 tickets that you can use whenever you wish to use them. You could host clients/employees/friends for a game or two, or spread out the number of tickets over any number of games.

Participate by completing that attached form and faxing it back to the Times Union Center at your earliest convenience so they can reach the goal of increasing season ticket holders from 1,000 to 1,800 prior to the upcoming season. The special promotional offer that includes complimentary tickets will be honored until August 15, 2012.

Thank you for your consideration,

Jennifer Kilcoyne

President
