The Chamber's Retail and Hospitality Committee will be promoting our Think and Buy Bethlehem Shop Local initiative at the Delmar Farmer's Market, beginning Saturday, June 2nd.

The next date at the market is Saturday, August 11. The Chamber will be promoting member businesses to the public to encourage the use and support of our local businesses.

The Bethlehem Republican Committee will hold their next meeting on Wednesday, July 25th at 5 pm at the Nathanial Adams Blanchard Post 1040, 16 W. Poplar Drive in Delmar. Beginning in August, monthly meetings will be held the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Post.

The Bethlehem Tri Club is going to help local challenged athletes by participating in the SPECIAL OLYMPICS "Over the Edge" Challenge. A member of the BTC will rappel 18 stories on August 10th over the edge of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Albany. To donate to this worthy cause click here.

The Capital Region Economic Development Council will meet again on September 11 at 2-5pm and November 14 at 9 am-12, locations TBA.

New York State launched a new one-stop website that allows students to view and apply for internship opportunities as part of Governor Cuomo's NewNew York Leaders program. All internship opportunities at every state agency and links to opportunities at the NYS Senate, Assembly, Attorney General and Comptroller's Office, will be available. Students can visit the website, www.nysinternships.com and apply directly to over 450 state-sponsored internships opportunities. For more details view the flyer.
