TUNER SCHOOL - I am very proud to introduce to you the TUNER SCHOOL CLASS OF 2008! Our first Tuner School class hit the ground running this September with 10 young guys full of automotive passion and an enthusiasm to learn about making vehicles go faster. I have to say how impressed I am with each and every student. They show up early and stay late every day and never miss an opportunity to learn something new. So far, our class has experienced a lot of important things including: Dragstrip launch techniques, burnouts, dyno testing, corner weighting, brake and suspension installations, rearend gear changes and theyve even done some welding!

Our Tuner School students will be going on a field trip with me while attending this year's giant automotive aftermarket conference, known as the SEMA SHOW, held in Las Vegas the first week of November. We are going to have a job fair for our students, both in Vegas at Sema as well as at our school campus sometime in December. If you are in the automotive business and are looking for a sharp young person to add to your organization then please contact us and we would be glad to introduce you to a solid group of young men who would be an asset to any organization!

Our next Tuner School class will begin in May, 2009. If you are interested in attending this class or the Fall, 2009 class, please let us know ASAP as both classes are quickly filling up.

SNOW BIRDS - Every year towards the end of October or early November, vehicles from all over North America flock to our shop for some upgrades and improvements to be added during the Winter months. If you are considering sending your vehicle to HPE for some added power, etc. then please call or email and schedule your appointment early. Our 24,000 square foot facility combined with our 16 service bays and capable team of craftsmen is capable of handling a number of projects during the colder months.

WHY DO WE NEED FAST CARS? - Every time there is some big crisis in the world I ask myself will our sales slow down due to the impending world crisis? After all, nobody really needs to own a fast car, right? Well, after being in this business for almost 20 years I have found that the majority of our clients DO need their fast cars. Why? They tell me that its their reward, the thing they look forward to, the thing they have worked hard and earned. Yes, some people DO need and depend on their toys as it gives them something to enjoy even in spite of whatever is happening in the real world. A quick drive in a fun car is just what we all need when the stock market is down, price of oil is up, etc. Next time you hear some bad news about the world markets, credit crunch, etc. go jump in your favorite ride and go tear up your favorite road. When you get back the outside world may still be in crisis but hopefully you will have a big smile on your face from driving a great car. Its all about having fun and having fun fast cars is a great way to escape the daily grind that life can be at times.
