Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo Featured on the Cover of the July, 2008 Issue of The DUPONT REGISTRY
Dear Fellow Gear Head,
We took delivery of one of the first Dodge Challengers a few weeks ago. Before we began our SRT700 Turbo modification process on this car, I drove it around for the weekend. Man, what an impressive car the new Challenger is. In my opinion it not only lives up to its media hype, but it also exceeded my expectations. It has the cool modern muscle car look we all expected and its fun to drive, comfortable and quick. Sure it can use some more power and sound. But the essential elements of a great car are all present in the new Challenger. I highly recommend you consider this car for your future daily driver or weekend fun car as it will do either or both - very well!
There are a few other new cars coming out soon that we are very excited about too - both coming from the General. And they both have Bob Lutz's finger prints all over them: The 2009 Corvette ZR1 with 638 hp and the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V with 556 hp! Both of these cars will be offering spectacular power and performance in bone stock form. So obviously, we will be seeking to increase these already impressive power and performance levels for these 2 new American supercars. Stay tuned.
I am happy to report that I recently got a real email address and thus will begin to phase out my old AOL email address - venomttinfo@aol.com - which I have had for the past 6 years. My new email address is simply: john@hennesseyperformance.com .
We at HPE recently lost a very good friend and co-worker, Jeff Zastrow. Jeff was our property manager at Lonestar Motorsports Park and was married to our customer service manager, Jennifer Zastrow. We will really miss Jeff. He was the kind of guy who was always fun to be around and he did a great job keeping our race track operational.
One last thing, our green Venom 1000 Twin Turbo is featured on the cover of the current issue of the DUPONT REGISTRY magazine. This car is a wild ride and has our 1200 hp optional power upgrade. It's sitting in our showroom and available for immediate delivery.
We at HPE hope that you have a great and safe summer of driving fun. Please let us know if we can ever be of any service to you.
Never Lift!
