In fact, Intuit rolled out the 2013 version of QuickBooks earlier this month, and the new product contains some features that will be of particular interest to professional accountants. If we turn the clock back 20 years, tools that today are a required part of any organization's technology infrastructure, such as email and Internet connectivity, were just beginning to gain regular use. Ten years ago, cloud computing and social networking, which are both extremely important today, were virtually unheard of.
