Displaying a Worksheet Name in a Worksheet Cell
Excel's CELL( ) function is a
little-used feature that offers a tremendous amount of information regarding
the formatting, location, or contents of a cell.
Creating Videos from PowerPoint 2010 Presentations
One of the enhancements to PowerPoint 2010 is the ability to create a
video directly from a PowerPoint presentation. This option allows you to create
a full-fidelity video that you can distribute on a CD/DVD, over the Internet,
via e-mail, or with a flash drive.

Consolidating Data with Excel's Consolidate Tool
The Consolidate command provides an effective way of
consolidating financial information, whether imported or created in Excel. In
short, Consolidate allows us to summarize our data quickly and accurately.

CCH Enhances Intelliconnect
On July 6, CCH announced a number of new features
for IntelliConnect, a tax research system used by 160,000 people. These new features
enable researchers to get to their answers faster and more effectively.

Support for Windows XP SP2 Ends
On July 13,
Microsoft ended all support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). Thus, current
users of that version of Microsoft's venerable operating system are now running
on an unsupported platform, increasing the likelihood of a security breach. According to
InformationWeek, "Unfortunately,

Windows 7 SP1 Beta Now Available
On July 12, Microsoft released the public beta of Windows 7
Service Pack 1 (SP1) to select users. SP1 does not add any end-user
functionality and is not intended for home use.
