Charting In Microsoft Office Word

Security Breach Notification Law Passes US House Of Representatives

The Data Accountability and Trust Act (DATA) passed the United States House of Representatives on December 8th, setting the stage for a possible federal law to supplant the patchwork of over 45 individual state laws regarding notification requirements surrounding breaches of confidential personal information.

Microsoft Hints At Office 2010 Release Date

Microsoft is hinting at the release date of the next version of its market-leading desktop productivity suite - Office  2010. On Microsoft's official Office 2010 web site, the company indicates that Office 2010 "will release to manufacturing (RTM) in the first half of 2010."

Google's popular web browser - Chrome - is now available in beta format for Apple Mac users. The beta version is free and works with OS X 10.5 and higher.
