Powerful Parenting Workshop Series

East End House will kick off a new workshop series (April 23rd-May 7th) for parents of children in kindergarten-5th grade. Topics will include: effective discipline strategies; behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and social development; and practical ways to help a child succeed in school.

STEAM: Where Science Meets Art

Come explore the intersection of science and art at the new Cambridge Creativity Commons at the corner of 5th and Bent Streets in East Cambridge! Art can be a powerful way for young people to explore scientific concepts, and the artist's process of imagination, trial, discovery and creation is much the same as the scientific process.

Volunteer Opportunities Available Now!

You can make a difference in the life of a young person. Volunteer and help students to be successful academically and beyond. We are looking for volunteers interested in supporting kindergarten through 8th grade students, especially those with experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) or literacy work. Join us and become a tutor, a mentor, or even an instructor for a day!
