We Need Your Help to Make the Holidays Festive for all in our Community

Last year the Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway provided all the ingredients for a traditional meal to over 840 families. Given the continued economic downturn we expect the need to be even greater this year. The same is true for the demand for our Holiday Toy Drive. Last year over 550 children received warm clothes, essential personal items, books, and toys for the holidays. Your donation and volunteer time will have a meaningful impact on the lives of many families this holiday season.

"My family would not have had the Thanksgiving we did if we did if we had not been able to get food from East End House."
-Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Giveaway consumer

"The boys absolutely loved the gifts. They made a lot of art over the vacation and we played the new games on New Year's Eve. The gifts that were given to me were great because they are things that I wanted but had a hard time buying for myself."

  • Filling a stocking with essential items such as toothpaste and soap (East End House will provide the stocking).
  • Adopting a family-help a family really struggling to get through the holidays by purchasing gifts for all family members. A wish list is provided by the family for reference.
  • Volunteer with your family, friends, or co-workers or come by yourself and meet your neighbors.
    • We need help sorting toys on the Tuesday and Wednesday before the drive and help handing them out on Thursday and Friday.
