Winter 2009

Tuscany Comes to Arizona!

Chef Giuseppe "The Tuscan Cook" arrived again this year for two fun-filled weeks of classes and events around the state.

Giuseppe

Chef Giuseppe presented  many fortunate Arizona residents with wonderful, simple, and traditional recipes during his travels to local culinary schools and private homes. His passion for the foods and wines of his home region comes through emphatically in his teachings and in his cooking!

A class favorite is Ribollita Soup - an ideal winter dish and ultimate comfort food Italian style.

A special thanks to Karolyn McCain of Food Wine Travel Connection for bringing Chef Giuseppe back to Phoenix!

Buon Anno!

Another new year arrives - And it's February already! Is it me or is time passing more quickly these days?

The word is out and the word is CHANGE. Perhaps the events of the past few years have many of us changing the way we look at our lives in general. Are we spending enough time with the things that matter most to us? Our family and friends - living our passions? Did we always want to do something and just never made the time? Well, we all know time will run out - and whatever it is that you long to see and do... I hope it makes it to the top of the list for 2009. And if visiting Italy is at all in your plans - you are in luck because you have Villa Vita to help you arrive!

May 2009 bring you much happiness and peace - and newly found hope for your dreams to come true.
