Assistance for SBE, MBE, WBE, DBE, and Section 3 Business Concerns.
VASE Construction has put together a strategic plan to help Section 3-, Small-, Minority-, Women-, and Disadvantaged businesses associated with our major contractors and Housing Agencies advance in the construction industry.
Our strategic 15-step plan includes everything from training and education, business development, certifications, insurance, bonding and finance to marketing, project management, and introductions to work opportunities. Starting in November 2010 VASE will hold a monthly meeting to provide an overview of our Back Office Program. Vincencia Adusei, Nancy Wyman, Jim Himes, and Tony Romano. Photography by Olivier Kpognon | VASE Construction Cocktail Reception Summary
On August 27th, VASE Construction held a cocktail reception with over 130 attendees. A major goal of this event was to give contractors the chance to meet candidates running for office and to give subcontractors the opportunity to network with major contractors, owners, and others in the construction industry who may be able to help educate, provide professional services, and present job opportunities that may be coming up in the near future.
Special thanks to our event supporter, Charles Tisdale from Action for Bridgeport Community Development, our sponsor, Tony Romano from Café Roma Restaurant in Bridgeport, CT, our photographer, Olivier Kpognon, our videographer and editor Matthew Warmes and Peter Finch, and finally our candidates for state office and guest attendees for coming. THANK YOU for your continuous support of VASE Construction.
We believe these events are proving helpful to others as our attendance record continues to grow each month. We invite you to join us at our next Happy Hour event at Geronimo's in New Haven, CT.

Added Value for VASE Construction Members
Although the main goal of VASE Construction is to help subcontractors find work and major contractors find subcontractors to successfully complete the work, VASE also has a number of individuals searching our external website pages for job opportunities.
We are asking our contractors if they have any upcoming job opportunities, to send them to Tara@VaseConstruction.com to have them posted on VASEConstruction.com. Having them posted to our website will allow your opportunities to be viewed by professionals in the construction field.
Send us your job opportunities so they may be posted and viewed on the following link: https://www.vaseconstruction.com/job_list.aspx .
Please include the following about your job opportunity:
