Miller Weldmaster - Heat-Sealing Equipment
| November 2010 |
Take advantage of the cost savings!
If you are considering buying a Miller Weldmaster, the recently passed Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 just made it easier!
How can buying a Miller create you a tax break? Business owners who acquire equipment including a Miller Weldmaster welder, usually prefer a substantial deduction in a single tax year, rather than a little at a time over a number of years. This accelerated deduction is known by its section in the tax code as: section 179 deduction.
The new 2010 law extends the amount of qualified property that a business can expense under section 179 to $500,000. The law also maintains the bonus deprecation of 50% for qualifying assets. This bonus is in addition to regular first year depreciation.

Equipment Cost Example:
As an example, if you purchase a T300 Extreme™ for making your products at $25,000 or a 112 Extreme™ at $79,000 you can expense 100% of that amount in 2009.
