We sure have been fired up here at our "house"!  Here's what has been going on at TB&A this spring:  

 

1.  I've been teaching several Adult Education classes this spring in Concord and in Acton - "Remodeling 101; What HGTV Doesn't Tell You" and "Kitchen Remodeling".  Teaching both classes has been extremely rewarding.   Let us know if you or someone you know may be interested in one of these offerings in the future. Judging from the attendance for the last few classes, remodeling is certainly making a resurgence this year! Over 24 people have attended classes this spring.

 

 2.  Mark Nash and I are currently participating in a study group held here in Acton to achieve a brand new certification offered by NARI. The National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI) has established the Certified Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM) designation to promote the highest standards of remodeling through credentialing of remodeling professionals. According to NARI, these are some of the primary goals of the new certification:
  • Encourage professional growth in the field of remodeling;
  • Increase the level of professionalism in how remodeling projects are managed to drive end-customer satisfaction of remodeling projects;
  • Serve the public by encouraging quality remodeling practices.

 

3.  We have begun working with a new cabinetry company for both semi- custom and custom cabinetry.
