I must admit, that for a long time I have had a low opinion of cabinet re-facing. It has always had a "used car salesman" feel for me. However, my mind has recently been changed about the possibilities of this approach to kitchen remodeling.
I recently attended a NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) dinner meeting where a distributor of doors and re-facing supplies for the industry had a table. I was surprised and extremely impressed with the quality, variety and design possibilities of their products. There are as many door styles and surfaces, and perhaps more, than anyone could hope for.
It got my mind to thinking about how this approach might benefit our clients. Such as:
- If you are happy with your layout and traffic flow, than this can be a great economical approach to upgrading the style and feel of your cabinetry and kitchen space.
- Upgrading existing cabinetry in this way would leave more budget available for other architectural changes such as opening up walls, moving doors, or adding windows. These "extras" would greatly enhance your existing space.
- Relatively fast remodeling process.
We are excited to add re-facing to our list of services and proud to provide even more options to our clients. Here are some great examples:
