As the school year begins, I would like to
dedicate this issue of Fresh Juice to learners of all
ages - in the hope that you will decide to step out of
your comfort zone and sign up for a new class in
Living Full-Out. There is open enrollment in
YOU101
and no waiting in line for the life is yours to
lead.
I recently tried on my version of courage and
took a
surfing lesson. As someone who has experienced
nightmares of tidal waves all of my life, it was a big
deal for me to actually choose to put myself in the
mouth of a wave - even if it was puny in comparison
to my mind's picture of terror.
The result is an unexplainable connection to the
water and to surfing in general, as well as an
increased sense of who I am and of what I am
capable. I actually can stand on top of all of that
rushing water, and move with the force underneath
me rather than get pummeled by it! Risking my place
of comfort gave me the confidence to translate that
one success into everything I choose. I'm learning
to "surf" with what bumps come my way, and ride
the waves of my days with a big fat juicy smile!
Here's to you finding your version of courage and
success, and as always, to living on purpose,
Stephanie

New Doorways |
 |
"If you want to succeed you should strike out
on new paths, rather than travel the worn paths of
accepted success." -John D. Rockefeller, Sr.
For many, September is a good month for opening
new doors, even if entering the next grade in school
is no longer what creates the push into new and
uncomfortable situations. You may protest, "Why
would I want to feel UNCOMFORTABLE?"
Because as a student entering a new year, along with
that uncomfortable, don't-know-what's-around-each-
corner feeling, new territory was conquered!
Each interaction was rich with possibility as you
made the choice to act either in old
familiar or new expansive ways.
The end of the first day or week of school also
presented an original perspective: surviving
new and uncomfortable situations gives you more
confidence to move forward. When the next big
adventure knocks at your door, you are more willing
and able to answer the call. Sure, there are
rough spots. But in the end, like an awkward colt
learning to walk, a new applicable life skill is the
grand result!
As adults, taking a class is one sure
way to open a new door, but it can be as easy
as taking a swim in the ocean if you usually only sit
on the beach. Perhaps it is a stretch for you to
enter into the world of your child (at any age) for a
set time and let go of any control of how the play or
talk will go. Get curious! See what comes up in
the space of these new endeavors. This
is the recipe for true learning, growth and success.
Perhaps because as adults we know we have this
amazing
ability to recreate our life in each single moment that
we allow so many to pass us by without change. But
what if this is all we get? What if we are in the PhD
program of our life now? What new door will you
open to make
this your best school year to date? What teacher
will best support this learning for you? As always,
only
YOU know.

Life Coach via email.

Space to Breathe is the monthly section of
inquiries
designed to use when journaling, dreaming, or when
you just plain have a minute to yourself. It is
designed to give you a springboard for self-
discovery.
What new skill (personal, professional or
otherwise) are you yearning to apprentice with or

"True life is lived when tiny changes occur."
-
Leo Tolstoy
Take a look around you. What is working? What
could use some fine-tuning, and what is asking to be
revealed from within? Chances are you are able
to
think of one thing you have wanted to be, learn or
do that is, up until now, unrealized and could be
acted upon.
Take advantage of one of best ways to catapult
your life into your right action with individualized
whole life coaching. Apprentice with your true
self,
and learn how to create the path to your fullest
future.
If not now, when? When will you consider
yourself worthy of pursuing such deep learning within
yourself?
What's at risk if you don't take the stand to demand
your full expression in the world? No one else can do
it for you: it is up to you to take the first step. In
the voice of a classmate from
years past, "I dare you!"
Trust that still, small voice that says, "This
might
work, and I'll try it." -Diane Mariechild
