This one thing I believe, the enemy is working overtime speaking words against the Most High God, just as the word says he will in Daniel 7:25. What we have to be aware of is the reason he is speaking words in your ear about the Most High God. The reason, as listed in Daniel 7, is to changes times and seasons. The word 'times' means the appointed time.
You see, there is an appointed time for your promise to be manifested, the devil will do everything he can to change, altar or delay that appointed time and the only way he can do that is by speaking words against God to the point that it literally wears you out. Have you felt that way lately?
I know I have, I have continuously fought against the enemy speaking things to me ever since Jesse died. He spends 24 hours a day reminding me of this and that thing I have prayed for that I haven't seen come to pass. It has caused me to become weary from the battle of my mind. However, there is a way to fight back.
2 Corinthians 10 tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal...BUT MIGHTY. These weapons pull down stronghold and arguments against God. We have a weapon to dispute and cast down everything the enemy is saying and that weapon is the ANOINTED word of God.
Romans 8:1 says the carnal mind is enmity against God, those thoughts, any thoughts that do not line up with the word of God are against God. As I fought the thoughts that were coming to my mind the Lord reminded me of something. We are bowing to one truth or another - either God's or the enemy's. If we are speaking what God says, we are bowing to His ways. If we are entertaining the enemy's thoughts we are bowing to him.
Philippians 2:5 says to let this mind be in you which is always in Christ Jesus. Again in Philippians 4:2 we are told to have the exact same mind as the Lord. We can only think what Jesus thinks, we can't afford to think anything less or anything the opposite.
As I was studying this today I found a scripture in 2 Thessalonians 2:2 that tells us to not be shaken or troubled in our mind. To be shaken is described as a motion produced by a storm or strong wind; to be shaken in your mind is to be agitated or shaken, and to be cast down from one's secure and happy state. What does that mean? The secure and happy state is the place of the blessing of God.
If you are cast down from your secure and happy state then you come out of the place of the blessing. The blessing can't operate in your life if you are shaken and disturbed in your mind - which takes us back to the scripture that tells us the enemy speaks things against God to change times and seasons - he speaks against God to hinder the blessings from our life, but it only works if we buy into to his lies and allow them to take root in our mind.
Friends, I know we have all experienced storms and high winds in the past few months, but don't forget, we have an anchor to our soul, and it is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Don't forget that our strength does not come from ourselves, it comes straight from God.
Psalm 18:32 says that God girds me with strength and makes my way perfect. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength. Psalms 18:2 says The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
God can and will hold you steady when everything else is shaking around you - if you will ask Him to and trust Him to. I still believe we are in an awesome time and I believe that is why the enemy is fighting so hard against certain individuals, at least fighting them in their mind. If you are one of those, fight back. Take the word of God and cast those thought down and thank God that the enemy can NOT change the times, the appointed times, in your life.
