For the past couple days I have been hearing the Lord saying something in my spirit that has caused me to do some digging to find out what He meant. He has been saying 'you must know the season you are in.'
Immediately my mind went to the Jewish calendar and God's timing. On Monday, September 17, Rosh Hashanah begins. It is the Jewish New Year. It is a day of new beginnings and so much more.
The festival of Rosh Hashanah, the name means "Head of the Year", is observed for two days beginning on 1 Tishrei, the first day of the Jewish year. It is the anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, and their first actions toward the realization of mankind's role in God's world.
Rosh Hashanah emphasizes the special relationship between God and man: our dependence upon God as our creator and sustainer, and God's dependence upon us as the ones who make His presence known and felt in His world. Each year on Rosh Hashanah, "all inhabitants of the world pass before God like a flock of sheep," and it is decreed in the heavenly court "who shall live, and who shall die . . . who shall be impoverished, and who shall be enriched; who shall fall and who shall rise." But this is also the day we proclaim God King of the Universe.
A shofar is blown on this day in remembrance of the sacrifice Abraham made many years ago. God accepted that sacrifice and gave Abraham his son back, while providing a ram in the thicket. Abraham's willingness to give gave him a full life of health, prosperity and covenant blessings. These blessings continued on in his lineage.
The blessings that is spoken over friends and family during this time is; may you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.
In God's timing it is almost time for the New Year. I also believe as I have shared before, we are in a time where God is accelerating time for some things. I have seen him do this on several occasions as we have prayed over situations.
This all being said, I believe God is telling me to be aware that this is a time of acceleration and a time of New Beginnings. A time to experience the full blessings of God that were passed down through Abraham; health, prosperity and covenant blessings. I believe it is time for you to be inscribed and SEALED for a good year.
All year Jerry Savelle has been preaching that 2012 is a year of fulfillment. I believe that to be true. God showed me a few weeks ago that we were entering into a time of joy unspeakable...I believe that to be true as well.
With all that being said, God has laid it on my heart to do something specific on the day of Rosh Hashanah. He has led me to bring an offering, just as Abraham did on that day and present it to the Lord. He has led me to make this known to you as well - so that at the end of that day - at sundown, I will present our corporate offering, mine and yours together, before the Lord, blow the shofar and declare a year of health, prosperity and blessings over us. To declare over us a year of fulfillment and peace, a year of all New Things coming to pass in our life.
I feel led to share this with you and I also felt we, who want to be a part of sowing a Rosh Hashanah seed, should sow the same exact seed. Therefore I am asking you to pray about sowing a seed of $12. The number 12 represents divine government as well as divine fullness and we are believing for all things to align and bring forth fullness in this year, the year of 2012. This seed will be sown in unity and I am expecting the blessing of unity to be on our seed, where the Lord commands a blessing of ZOE life evermore. (Psalm 133)
Proverbs 18 says a man's gift will make room for him. We are bringing our gift before the Lord, our New Year's gift, and asking God to receive it and bless it and accelerate time and cause our harvest to begin that very day.
In all my years, I have never had God put something like this on my heart. It is not something you have to be a part of, you will still be in our prayers that day, however if you would like to be a part, sow your seed of $12 on Monday, September 17. Sow the seed for a year sealed by God for health, prosperity and joy. Sow the seed to proclaim that God is still King of the Universe. Mark your calendar for this awesome, High, Holy Day on God's calendar and celebrate it in whatever manner He leads you to.
I believe the blessing of Almighty God will be on our seed for Rosh Hashanah...and may you have a year of health, prosperity, peace, joy and the presence of God in your life as never before. Happy, Happy New Year!
