On Tuesday I had an awesome day in God.  Wednesday was a quiet day in God - very different, I prayed quietly for much of the day - I felt God wanted to get something across to me and I needed to hear it, therefore I was quiet before Him.

Then, one of our partners sent me an email from Fletch Whipp.  As I begin to read it, I knew it was what God wanted me to hear and for me, it WAS a word in due season - and one I needed to hear that day.  I have read it - re-read it and am applying it to my life.  I felt compelled to share it with you as well...therefore, I am doing something I rarely do, sharing someone else's article with you as our motivation.  

 More than anything, I want you to receive all God has for you in this season - I firmly believe this is a season, a day, of receiving - and sometimes there are things we need to do to receive.  I hope you enjoy this article...I know I did. I believe this is a word in season for all of us.

To those sensitive to the Lord's movement in the earth, it is very obvious that He is in 'creative mode.'   There is such repositioning and shifting taking place that the Earth itself is literally groaning under  the stress of change. The recent increase in worldwide earthquake activity is simply one indicator in the natural of what is taking place in the spiritual.

Literally every single Christian I am associated with in the marketplace or ministry (including myself) is undergoing significant change. What is so surprising in listening to them is their belief that they alone are undergoing this change. Their eyes hold an invisible question. 'Why is God turning my world upside down?

 With so much of the church undergoing huge upheaval in these times, The Lord has shown me two keys that many of His people are not embracing at  this time, and is a definite cause in 'strangling their release'.

During times of shifting, if we allow the enemy to plant seeds of fear inside of us, we withdraw, and become focused on self. I have done this previously, as I am sure you have too. We need to realize that in doing so; we take our eyes off of Him. He alone holds our future in the palm of His hand. He alone will release us into the next, once we have taken the ground in front of us He is calling us to take. As Eileen Fisher says 'Once you get the A+ you don't keep taking the same test!'  We need to learn to praise our way through the circumstances.

 Do not get tossed by the Waves - stand upon the rock!

What do I mean by praise your way through? Well, sure it does refer to literally praising and worshipping Him, but it is not limited to that.  Start reading that Word and look for His promises, and then stand upon and praise Him for those promises. We have been bought with a precious blood covenant, and covenant means contract! He has an agreement between Himself in Heaven and us on Earth. 'But Fletch', you say 'I've done that but I'm still struggling' 'Have you received your breakthrough? I would say 'Well, no'.. 'Ok then, don't stop, and keep pressing into Him until you get that breakthrough!'

 The second key is giving financially to those in ministry that feed you.

 'But Fletch, you don't understand my situation. I lost my job, my hours were cut back, and my taxes are due.  Actually, I understand completely, my wife and I have been walking that out ourselves. That does not excuse us to withhold our finances from God, no matter the size, to allow His Work to be done here on Earth. Millions of believers are paralyzed right now, in these uncertain times by allowing a satanic spirit of fear, to dominate their life, rather than living by faith, trusting in a loving God, who never breaks His promises.  Satan has tricked them into believing God has abandoned them and that their best bet is to take control of their circumstances-and therefore taking their eyes off of God, which is always satan's ultimate goal. They are in effect, allowing satan a place of greater authority in their lives than God. Not surprisingly, through a lack of faith, a great many are being tossed around in the stormy seas around them.

(Mark 4:35-41) A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this?  Even the wind and the waves obey him!"

 So, this week, I would challenge you in this. Firstly, start praising your way through your circumstances, dust yourself off, and start pressing in. Re-read your covenantal relationship with Almighty God.  Stand firm on His promises; rebuke that spirit of fear and unbelief, and DO NOT BACK DOWN!

Secondly, give sacrificially to where you are being fed. Ask the Holy Spirit for His highest, with your finances.

  And watch Him start to shift your circumstances!
