This week, I have heard a phrase over and over. That phrase is...it's time. The first time I heard it I was speaking to a friend in Alaska.
I knew God had been showing me some things and some changes that would take place and I heard him say 'it's time' that morning.
Later that day I was in another city. The Lord had been talking to me about some of changes that were ahead. I was listening quietly in my spirit. Breanne and the kids were with me and we had grabbed something to eat. Breanne was driving and I told her to pull over to a gas station ahead so I could get gas. She did.
I was standing at the pump talking to God. I said 'God if this is what you are showing me, I need you to confirm it for me.' As I said that a man pulled up at the pump across from me and got out of his car. The confirmation I needed concerned a certain city and changes God was showing me. When the man stepped out of his car I recognized him as a minister from this particular city I was talking to God about. I kept pumping gas and talking to God. I said 'okay God, if this is you; have him start a conversation with me.' Now, he was on the other side of the pumps with his back to me. As I said this to God, the man spun around and said 'how are you today?' I said 'fine, and you?' He said 'this breeze sure makes it nice.' I said 'yes.' God had my attention.
The man said something else to me and I said 'you are so and so?' He said 'yes, and you are?' I explained to him that I was acquainted with his wife and told him my name and he said 'yes, I know who you are.' I said 'I was standing here asking God to confirm something for me concerning the city you are from and you pulled up.' He said 'well, he confirmed it.' And I said 'yes he did.' The last thing he said to me after a long conversation was 'the hand of the Lord is on your family...it's time.'
When I pulled away from that 'God moment in time' there was such a peace on me, it was unexplainable. I knew God was speaking and confirming things. The following day I was watching TBN and a minister was on there who kept saying 'it's time.' After a while he told people to sow an 'it's my time seed.' I really didn't think a lot about it. I always wait for God to show me what He wants me to do concerning seed. Later on a different minister was speaking and he said something that caught my attention. He said 'harvest never follows a need, it only follows a seed.' Hmmm... that was a good nugget.
Therefore I prepared my 'it's my time' seed and sowed it the following day where God led me to. Later I began to think about time and what the Bible says about time.
The Bible talks about 'set times' and 'acceptable times.' From the scriptures I studied in Psalm 102, Psalm 110, and Song of Solomon 2, I discovered that God does have set or appointed times. It's like a woman who is with child; she goes month after month after month. She is no less pregnant at 2 months than she is at six months, but the day comes where she says 'it's time.' That means the baby is coming, it has started moving and nothing can stop it.
I also thought about the signs she receives to know it is time. Sometimes a woman's water will break but more often than not, she experiences pain. She starts out with a little pain but it gets to the point where it is great pain and she feels she can't take it anymore...that is part of 'its time.'
I believe many of us are there - at 'it's time.' We have entered into a place, something has begun that can't be stopped. There may be a breaking. There may be pain. There may even be a little anxiousness knowing that everything is about to change. Whatever your sign is, those signs are all saying 'it's time.'
The Bible says by the mouth of two witnesses every thought is established. I believe when God has someone say the same exact phrase to you over and over, he is establishing something in your life and in your heart. That is what he has done for me this week, established the truth in my heart that 'it truly is time.'
Eccl. 3 tells us that there is a time and a purpose for everything. That word time means a time of advancement, a set and appointed time. You may be there today, at your appointed time, at your time of advancement. If so, rejoice and be exceedingly glad...it's time....it's your time and everything you have been believing God for is about to manifest and come to a point of fullness. That is my prayer and declaration for you today...for you my friend...it is TIME.
