Running a successful business involves getting
complete clarity of your vision. Do you have a vision
for your nutrition business?
The following information was taken from,
Private Practice, Getting that Jump Start, 5th
Edition Business School and also the Jump Start
Business School Entrepreneurial Curriculum for
Educators. You can begin soul searching
by understanding your core values:
YOUR CORE VALUES
Your core values bring together your talents and
passions along with how you wish to live your life.
Determine the following:
1. What are your core values?
2. What is the vision for how you want to live
your life?
3. What skills and talents do you bring to this
vision?
4. Based on your skills and talents, what can
you sell that incorporates your values and still make
money?
Do you want to live in abundance or poverty?
Motivation strictly by money and self-less ness, leads
to greed and disappointment. However, if you are
lucky enough to discover your career path and give to
others in a self-less way, your altruism will open the
doors for abundance, including money. Your love of
what you do may surprise you in that financial
constraints will not be an issue in making a decision
to start your own business…whether you are just out
of school or mid-way into your career. More questions
to ask yourself, include:
- What do I need and want out of life?
- How can my company accomplish that?
- What would such a company look like?
- How do I get it to look like that?
