Lemon Tree Inn is All-a-Twitter

Lemon Tree Inn of Naples, Florida has sweetened its customer service and marketing programs with use of social media tools including Twitter and Facebook. The boutique hotel created a Twitter account and Facebook page in order to deliver deals, news and updates to their friends, travel agents, and past and future guests.

Wit Saint by his side, race car driver heads to tracks
|
AJ Nealey, who ranks in the top ten for the Jetta TDI Race, will be racing at Road America in Elkhart, Wisconsin this August 14-16. Also racing with AJ is a figurine of St. Christopher, the patron saint of motorists, which AJ's grandmother, Joan Caron of Old Town, Maine, gave him for his first race.
"You gotta do what your grandmother says," says AJ Nealey, "She believes in me and has always been a big supporter, so I am glad to take St. Christopher along for the ride. It makes her so happy." AJ admits, that having St. Christopher with him has now become a ritual for him. "At least he is not like some athletes who refuse to change their socks," said his mother.

GM Selected for Leadership Collier
|
Rob de Castro, the general manager of Lemon Tree Inn of Naples, Florida was selected to join the Leadership Collier Program, which develops a network of leaders to address community-wide challenges and identify viable alternatives. The nine-month program, developed by The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, begins in September and includes training and educational insight into societal and economic issues facing the Greater Naples area. "As a small independently owned hotel, we understand many of the issues facing the community and we want to be part of the solution," said Sid Kalmans, managing partner of Lemon Tree Inn, "From our employees and our guests to the vendors we work with and the issues a small business faces, Rob is an excellent choice for the program as he deals directly with critical issues in our community every day."
