About the time you receive this Feng Shui Friday, I'll be winging my way west--heading to California and Oregon to visit my aunts and my sister.  While I'm gone, Mrs. Chi wants me to remind you she's on her way to visit you.  Invite her in and let her keep you company, the feng shui way.

 I have amassed a fairly significant library on feng shui and clutter clearing resources.  By visiting you every Friday it's fun to review the titles and decide which ones might speak to you and bring you a tip.  This week I reached for The Feng Shui Anthology by Jami Lin.  This collection from nearly 40 experts brings a variety of feng shui ideas and information from the basics, landscape and architecture to healthy home, body and spirit.

Check out "Turn Signals for the Unconscious" by Richard L. Phillips.  It made me instantly think of Mrs. Chi.  Think of her as a turn signal in your home when she comes to reside.  Phillips says, "...turn signals tell you where to go and what to do, which room to use, and how to behave there.  Positive turn signals in your home lower stress levels and give your body more energy for healing, growing, and being creative...and set the stage so you can empower yourself." 

Here's how Mrs. Chi acts as a turn signal in your home.  Put her to work this week.

• She can't get in if she can't find her way so replace all non-working lightbulbs, lamps or light fixtures including lights in your car or outdoor porch/deck lights
• Add a solar light or two along a sidewalk or in a garden to attract Mrs. Chi
• Add a lamp in a dark corner or nightlights 
• Turn on lights this week in unused rooms: guest room, basement storage area, extra bathroom and remind Mrs. Chi that this space needs her presence too
• Are the lights working in your refrigerator, oven, microwave?
