Recognized as one of the finest all male
collegiate choral groups in the country, the University of Notre Dame
Glee Club has a rich history of singing and brotherhood spanning the
last ninety-two years. The concert program includes a first half
of classical works, both sacred and secular. The second half contains popular
music such as spirituals, folk songs, barbershop, and love songs. As always,
the concert will conclude with the Notre Dame Victory March. Founded in 1915,
the 70-voice ensemble has toured in over 40 U.S. states, and internationally
in Canada, Mexico, Central America, Europe, and Asia.

Let The Eagle Fly" a new musical drama, tells the story of Cesar E.
Chavez, one of the most influential civil rights leaders of our time
and a crusader for non-violent change.
It traces Cesar's life from his childhood, as the son of migrant farm
workers in the Great Depression, through his founding of the Farm
Workers Union and his commitment
to the non-violent struggle for social and economic justice. The

Mollicone's unmistakable touch, the Latin rhythms and changing meter of
this World Premiere interweaves the elements of the mass in Spanish and

Native-American Trip ~ July 4- 11
|
Don't miss this once in a lifetime experience to explore the Navajo (Dine) and Apache cultures and engage in interfaith dialogue. During this 7 day trip our group will visit numerous archaeological sites from Canyon de Chelly in Arizona to Mesa Verde in Colorado to Chaco Canyon in New Mexico. You will gain a new appreciation for the history and culture of the first inhabitants of the United States.
We will visit Catholic churches on the Navajo and Apache reservations which integrate the symbols and architecture of these peoples and we will learn about how the Catholic Church has adapted to the culture of the Native Americans by inculturating the Apache and Navajo symbols into the celebration of the Mass
The culmination of this trip will be the possibility of participating in an Apache Sweat Lodge. The Sweat Lodge is a transformative experience conducted by an Apache Medicine man.
