Surrendering Thought
"Your involvement with thinking takes you out of this moment.
So if you surrender every thought that arises back into this moment then you will begin to feel this moment directly.
You will feel the subtle sensations, of existing in this moment. You will begin to fall back into what is here unconditionally, what is here prior to all thought. Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

November 28th The false witness You are sometimes invited to witness form. Forms include things that have solid appearances and temporary life spans including thoughts, emotions, states, experiences, bodies, trees, clouds, pickles, planets, and so forth. Although form comes and goes, that which is witnessing form does not. The silent witness within you, sometimes called "awareness," is often your first taste of the realization that the time-bound, thought-based story streaming through your head is not actually you. You are also not any particular emotion, experience, state or other form. It appears that you are the formless awareness that is aware of form. Yet awareness implies a you that is separate from what it sees. That witness is the last remnant of the dream of a separate self. It is the sense that nothing is happening or that life is happening but who I am merely witnesses it. As long as there is a separate entity, including even a witness, duality remains. You are still separate from life. As the witness is seen to be an illusion, liberation and love arise. It is seen that the idea that there is an awareness here aware of something else is just that - an idea. With no more witness or identification with awareness, Oneness is realized. The line between nothing and everything is seen through. You are no longer noticing life. You are no longer an idea. You are life. |

INTENTION OF TRANSFORMATIONAL BREATH
by Judith Karvitz
 (Continuation...)
There are some major differences between Transformational Breath and other known breathwork processes. One of the most significant is the skill and importance in opening the respiratory system along with the understanding of the meaning of the client's individual breathing pattern. In TB, we use "hands-on" in variety of ways for several reasons. First, we apply pressure to relax the muscles which control respiration; then we use a form of acupressure to activate cellular memories that get integrated with breathing. We also use movement and sound as well as to create pressure and resistance to assist clients in moving through patterns of control.
Another defining aspect of TB is the use of invocations in each session to co- create and invoke the presence of the Beings of Light for guidance, support, connection, and completion. Once again, by consciously invoking the Spiritual, the experience can go from the realms of limited good to infinite possibilities.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |
| | Michael Brown |
From PART V:
9. Why is it that since completing The Presence Process we are more aware of the suffering in the world, and yet feel less compelled to do something about it?
(Continuation...)
As we awaken into present moment awareness, it becomes obvious there is only one point of real suffering in this world, and that all outer drama is a manifestation of this. This point of suffering is the cloud of forgetfulness that overshadows humanity throughout time.

Knowingness
[In short, Consciousness forgets itself.]
As a consequence of buying the 'blank object' theory in this way, the 'I am not present' theory, Consciousness is condemned to looking for itself within the realm of objects.
This is the moment when the prodigal son leaves the palace. He turns away from the father towards the world of objects.
Consciousness apparently turns away from itself and looks outward towards the realm of mind.

Chapter 90
Surrender to Your Own Self
[Q: Yes, that is how I feel sometimes - indomitable. I am more than fearless - I am fearlessness itself.]
M: What made you go to the Ashram?
Q: I had an unhappy love affair and suffered hell. Neither drink nor drugs could help me. I was groping and came across some books on Yoga. From book to book, from clue to clue - I came to Ramanashram.
M: Were the same tragedy to happen to you again, would you suffer as much, considering your present state of mind
