States of Witnessing
"What your mind tells you about what is here and what is really here beyond mental perception are two completely different things. Thinking usually happens at such a speed that the reality you experience is not questioned. And what is the mind doing? It is defining, describing and judging and justifying those definitions, descriptions and judgments.
It is constantly creating and reinforcing a sense of "me" that is separate from everything else and thus there is conflict. But if you take a step back and observe thinking, observe the process of thoughts arising, then this whole mind perception begins to fall apart. At first, the idea of the thinker will disappear and you will see thoughts are arising by themselves. From here, all judgmental thoughts will stop arising. As you go deeper, all personal thoughts of "me" and everything in relation to this personal "me" disappears and there is an incredible sense of freedom. Then you enter dream states, visions, esoteric and subtle thinking that cannot be comprehended by the intellectual mind.
And beyond this is mental noise.
And beyond that mental noise is silence, a sense of nothingness, pure consciousness. The beauty of it is, the moment you begin observing the thinking instead of identifying with thoughts, that sense of stress and conflict considerably dissipates and there is incredible peace.
And with each level of witnessing you sink into, you let go of another subtler sense of self and this peace and bliss increases. Judgments stop, the bliss increases, the personal sense of "me" as you know yourself to be disappears and the bliss increases. You keep moving closer and closer to the essence of what is really here, to pure peace, pure consciousness and you become more and more free.
It starts with observation, with witnessing, but then what happens cannot be explained, you feel your way into it, you let yourself go into it. Kind of like when you go to sleep at night. You lie down and relax and then you let yourself go into sleep. You don't really know intellectually how it happens, because it happens beyond the perception of mind. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

November 17th Oneness meeting itself everywhere Yesterday's reflection stated that all views are dualistic. This is, itself, a dualistic view. A view can be clearer or truer than another view, but only relatively or dualistically. The view that "all is One" is only pointing to the absolute. It is relatively clearer than some other view. Oneness cannot be expressed. Yet Oneness is expressing itself in every view and everything. Nothing is appearing as everything - as an ant crawling across the sidewalk, the sand blowing in a desert, and a mother kissing her baby's forehead. It is appearing as your "correct view" and as the "wrong view" held by someone with whom you are debating. There is nothing that This is not. In seeing that you are not this dream self, but rather This that we call Oneness, it is realized that Oneness is meeting itself everywhere. It is appearing as two. In this seeing, dualism arises but there is no longer identification with it. You are not seeking an identity from any dualistic view. This non-dual seeing is not some grand enlightenment in the future. "Future" is a thought arising in the non-dual awareness that you are right now. It is a dualistic view that exists only in relation to its opposite - past. Simple presence reveals an awake space in which everything is arising. The absolute is therefore right here, right now. It can be known only through direct experience, not through dualistic views.

Chapter 4
Fact: Consciousness is the Infinite Itself
(Continuation...)
[This One I Am never stops being infinite, undimensional Presence to become solid, physical flesh. Limits of matter do not apply to I, for I Am not material, not a finite thing. Yet here I perfectly, effortlessly Am- present as this Conscious One here, now.] Trying to pin I down to one particular finite location is like trying tograb a handful of air. Try it. Now open the hand. Can the air that was"grabbed" be separated from the rest? Just as I, Consciousness, am not inside the body holding this book, but am "outside" the body-this of course holds true for what appears as every other body. It's not that each body has its own outside-the-body Consciousness or I-for there is only One I. It is this same, One I that is greater than what appear as all bodies. The Conscious I "here" is the exact, same I "everywhere," for there isn't another I anywhere else, just bodies, things. No other body is a separate I or Consciousness-for no body is the Consciousness I Am. The only One conscious to say I is this I that I Am. Truly, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." That doesn't mean a separate "body-you" should care about other bodies or selves as much as it cares about itself. There are no separate selves. There literally is only this One I-Self-the All-Inclusive One I Am.

From PART V:
8. What other activities can we instill into our life experience to enhance our relationship with our Inner Presence?
(Continuation...)
All our senses are portholes for activating present moment awareness, as they are equally able to lead us into the distractions of operating in a time-based paradigm. When we pay attention to our sensual input, we pay attention to the present moment, because all sensual input occurs in the present moment. The second we interpret, analyse, reflect upon, project, and compare our sensual input we depart the present moment and enter the mental paradigm called time.

The Ease Of Being
(Continuation...)
Imagine a king who has enjoyed life in his palace. One day he wishes to experience the life of one of his subjects and so he instructs his ministers to treat him as a normal person until he commands them otherwise. On the next day the king goes out into the marketplace disguised as a peasant and, although his ministers are watching from a distance, they are powerless to intervene. To begin with the King does not notice that the enjoyment he feels in the marketplace is of the same nature as the enjoyment he feels in the palace, so he soon forgets that he is pretending.

Chapter 89
Progress in Spiritual Life
(Contiuation...)
Q:When I was with them (other spiritual seekers) I had a strange feeling of becoming invisible. The devotees, in their surrender to their Guru surrendered me also! Whatever I did for them was their Guru's doing and I was not considered, except as a mere instrument. I was merely a tap to turn left or right. There was no personal relationship whatsoever. They tried a little to convert me to their faith; as soon as they felt resistance, they just dropped me from the field of their attention. Even between themselves they did not appear very much related; it is their common interest in their Guru that kept them together. I found it rather cold, almost inhuman. To consider oneself an instrument in God's hands is one thing; to be denied all attention and consideration because 'all is God' may lead to indifference verging on cruelty. After all, all wars are made 'in the name of God'. The entire history of mankind is a succession of 'holy wars'. One is never so impersonal as in war!
M:To insist, to resist, are contained in the will to be. Remove the will to be and what remains? Existence and non-existence relate to something in space and time; here and now, there and then, which again are in the mind. The mind plays a guessing game; it is ever uncertain; anxiety-ridden and restless. You resent being treated as a mere instrument of some god, or Guru, and insist on being treated as a person, because you are not sure of your own existence and do not want to give up the comfort and assurance of a personality. You may not be what you believe yourself to be, but it gives you continuity, your future flows into the present and becomes the past without jolts. To be denied personal existence is frightening, but you must face it and find your identity with the totality of life. Then the problem of who is used by whom is no more.
