States of Witnessing
"What your mind tells you about what is here and what is really here beyond mental perception are two completely different things. Thinking usually happens at such a speed that the reality you experience is not questioned. And what is the mind doing? It is defining, describing and judging and justifying those definitions, descriptions and judgments.
It is constantly creating and reinforcing a sense of "me" that is separate from everything else and thus there is conflict. But if you take a step back and observe thinking, observe the process of thoughts arising, then this whole mind perception begins to fall apart. At first, the idea of the thinker will disappear and you will see thoughts are arising by themselves. From here, all judgmental thoughts will stop arising. As you go deeper, all personal thoughts of "me" and everything in relation to this personal "me" disappears and there is an incredible sense of freedom. Then you enter dream states, visions, esoteric and subtle thinking that cannot be comprehended by the intellectual mind.
And beyond this is mental noise.
And beyond that mental noise is silence, a sense of nothingness, pure consciousness. The beauty of it is, the moment you begin observing the thinking instead of identifying with thoughts, that sense of stress and conflict considerably dissipates and there is incredible peace.
And with each level of witnessing you sink into, you let go of another subtler sense of self and this peace and bliss increases. Judgments stop, the bliss increases, the personal sense of "me" as you know yourself to be disappears and the bliss increases. You keep moving closer and closer to the essence of what is really here, to pure peace, pure consciousness and you become more and more free.
It starts with observation, with witnessing, but then what happens cannot be explained, you feel your way into it, you let yourself go into it. Kind of like when you go to sleep at night. You lie down and relax and then you let yourself go into sleep. You don't really know intellectually how it happens, because it happens beyond the perception of mind. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

November 12th
The seamlessness between awareness and thought
Yesterday's reflection, as with many non-duality writings, made a distinction between awareness and thought - between nothing and everything. The mind falsely believes it knows what we are talking about when we locate a NO-thing called awareness in relation to a something else called thought. But is the distinction absolutely real?
Don't think about what is being said here. Thought will always create distinctions. Just look. Where does a thought begin? It appears to arise out of and vanish back into this NO-thing we call awareness. But where is the actual, solid line between thought and awareness? Can you see the very point at which this NO-thing called awareness turns into this other thing called thought? Can you see the very point at which this thing called thought dies into awareness?
This reflection is not inviting a philosophical view or an attempt to grasp non-duality intellectually. Instead, this is an invitation to notice the seamlessness of life. Thought bleeds seamlessly out of awareness and falls seamlessly back into it.
The line between thought and awareness can never really be found. This One Life is apparently moving in and out of form in a mysteriously seamless way. The mind's idea that it gets non-duality simply because it has located a NO-thing called awareness and a something else called thought is ultimately just another dualism. There is nothing to get. Life is simply living itself seamlessly, way beyond what the intellect can grasp.

Chapter 4
Fact: Consciousness is the Infinite Itself
(Continuation...)
[Infinity is not theoretical, not a lifeless mathematical concept.]
Infinity is actually conscious. Infinity is alive stuff. Infinity is this very I, right here.
Yes, It is I, the Infinite Itself, reading this now, beholding what these words mean.
I could "plumb the depths" of the consciously alive Infinity I Am for what passes as the next billion, trillion years and never come to an end of My Alive Presence or use It up.
The Infinite Aliveness I Am is un-shut-off-able. I Am un-go-away-able.
My Aliveness is inexhaustible in Its supply, and yet always present.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |

From PART V: 6. (Continuation...)
By applying the breathing practice in this manner, we explore the potentials of our intent, and the extraordinary ability of our breathing to magnify the focus of any intent. This is applying the breathing practice pro-actively and co-creatively. Then we are no longer attending to it as a means to mop up the consequences of the past, but as a tool to polish our experience of our future NOWS. By applying the breathing practice in this manner, and by witnessing the inevitable consequences, we know for sure everything happening is connected to what is unfolding right now. We also integrate that our intimate connection with any future NOW is accomplished through the conscious combination of physical presence, mental navigation, and balanced, wielded emotional intent. In this respect, the breathing is not only a means to resolve the past, but also to enhance the path ahead. We also discover that when we operate pro-actively and co-creatively, our future NOW'S manifest at an uncanny speed; as though by focussing our breathing on them we are speeding up time. This in turn introduces us to an ever-increasing experiential awareness of what movement is.

The Ease Of Being
(Continuation...)
We are like a deep well and the presence of Intelligence, Love and Beauty in our lives is like the appearance of the sun at midday, shining directly into the well.
Normally only the creatures living at the surface of the well are active, due to the lack of light lower down. However, for a short period each day, the creatures living at deeper levels wake up due to the presence of the sun shining directly above them.
Such is the presence of Intelligence in our lives. As the sun of Intelligence, Love and Beauty comes more frequently over the well, so deeper and deeper layers of identification come into the light and are revealed.

Chapter 88
Knowledge by the Mind, is not True Knowledge
(Continuation...)
Q:You say that the illusion of the world begins with the sense 'I am', but when I ask about the origin of the sense 'I am', you answer that it has no origin, for on investigation it dissolves. What is solid enough to build the world on cannot be mere illusion. The 'I am' is the only changeless factor I am conscious of; how can it be false?
M:It is not the 'I am' that is false, but what you take yourself to be. I can see, beyond the least shadow of doubt, that you are not what you believe yourself to be. Logic or no logic, you cannot deny the obvious. You are nothing that you are conscious of. Apply yourself diligently to pulling apart the structure you have built in your mind. What the mind has done the mind must undo.
