3 Steps to Awakening
"This experience of separation and stress, of being a person separate from everything else is something you are doing. You are contracting moment to moment into identifying with thinking, identifying with the body, identifying with the idea of who you think yourself to be and how life is supposed to be. And this contraction blocks you from experiencing your true nature of peace. So then how do you stop this contraction? How do you stop creating this suffering?
Lets put it in 3 parts: The first is practice: spending time every day actively practicing a meditation technique.
The main reason for this is to focus your mind; to focus your attention. With focused attention, awareness begins to grow and you begin to experience life beyond the confines of the intellectual and emotional mind. Second is to immerse yourself in Shakti. Whether it is sitting with an enlightened teacher that radiates Shakti, and/or meditating with the Calling or Infinite Sky CDs, this Shakti will awaken you from the inside out, giving you a direct experience of bliss that is almost impossible to experience on your own. Third is to surrender, to allow your experience in this moment to be exactly as it is without trying to control it, change it or even identify with it. To experience this moment directly, without carrying your past around with you and believing yourself to be that. Let go of the idea of yourself and let your attention rest in the sensations that you feel in this moment instead of perceiving this moment through thinking. If you do these three things you will begin to feel alive in a way you never did before, you will begin to experience your true nature as peace. It is the difference between thinking about bliss and living as bliss itself. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. I have found a way to turn Kundalini Shakti into sound So simply by listening to meditation music you effortlessly awaken to your natural state of unconditional peace, bliss and freedom.

Breitenbush 01 - The Rains Retreat - The Journey Home by Eckhart Tolle |
 | | Eckhart Tolle |
Tape 5
(Continuation)
[And again, those people were so identified with mind structures and labels, I talk about obscuring the reality, the depth of this phenomena that we call rain by labeling it, imagine [that by] attaching labels to people or groups of people you no longer sense who they...their aliveness.]
That is why I said the beginning of violence is attaching a label. Even a simple label like "bad weather" and identify with that. And depth is lost and now you attach labels to other people whether you do it to individuals or nations, groups, religions, tribes and immediately just as you deaden yourself to that, you deaden yourself to the depth, the aliveness. You've already done violence to that person by attaching labels. And that's the essence of unconsciousness - they did it. They don't know what they do because they totally, they see only through the screen of conceptualization. And the word Americans means "kill, kill." They don't know, that's total unconsciousness.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

November 1st
Truth is every experience and perspective
Yesterday's reflection stated that truth is not conceptual, but rather actual. Truth is "life itself, appearing in whatever form it appears." It is in "every experience and every perspective." That seems very abstract to the intellect. It is not something the intellect can grasp. This is so simple and obvious that it is overlooked in each moment.
To see what is being pointed to here, once must simply notice. To say that truth is in "every experience and every perspective" is simply to say that there is only One life happening now. Life never happens outside of the space of what we call "now." Nothing is appearing as everything including every experience, thought, feeling, belief, state, and perspective.
When there is a sense of a separate self, nothing is pretending to be a separate person. When seeking happens, nothing is appearing as seeking. When a clear concept arises, nothing is appearing as a clear concept. Nothing also appears as a totally unclear concept, a squirrel, a toothbrush, anger, humility, and a Wall Street investor. There is nothing that This is not.
When the mind stops believing that something should be happening other than what is happening, and when emptiness is realized, it is seen that you are life itself, appearing in all forms, all experiences, all states, and all concepts. The simplest word for this is presence.

Chapter 4
Fact: Consciousness is the Infinite Itself
(Continuation...)
As you do so, be alert to "that which is saying I." All that's important is that which is doing the saying-not the word "I" being said.
What is the nature of this invisible voice, this I that you are?
Do not first identify yourself as a body and assume it is the one saying I. Start by identifying yourself directly as this invisible voice only. Identify as I, all by Itself alone.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |
| | Michael Brown |
From PART V: 6. After completing the entire Process, aside from our 15 minutes breathing twice a day, are there other circumstances that we respond to by breathing ourselves? Yes. When we enter and move through The Presence Process, the breathing empowers us not only to activate present moment awareness, but also to bring suppressed memories to the surface for integration. This is why we are encouraged to keep attending to our breathing exercise twice a day after we complete Session Ten; so we continue to give ourselves an open-ended opportunity to bring further awareness to our unconsciousness, as well as the ability to integrate the shifts we initiate by doing so.

The Ease Of Being
(Continuation...)
[Ignorance is a choice that Consciousness makes out of its own freedom.]
However, this exclusive identification is not something that is chosen once and for all. It is something that we, Consciousness, choose from moment to moment. By the same token Consciousness is free to disidentify itself from the body/mind whenever it chooses. Some spiritual traditions emphasise the efforts that are required by Consciousness to disidentify itself from the body/mind, but in fact Consciousness disidentifies itself effortlessly many times every day.

Chapter 88
Knowledge by the Mind, is not True Knowledge
(Continuation...)
Q: We are condemned to fear?
M:Until we can look at fear and accept it as the shadow of personal existence, as persons we are bound to be afraid. Abandon all personal equations and you shall be free from fear. It is not difficult. Desirelessness comes on its own when desire is recognized as false. You need not struggle with desire. Ultimately, it is an urge to happiness, which is natural as long as there is sorrow. Only see that there is no happiness in what you desire.
