3 Steps to Awakening
"This experience of separation and stress, of being a person separate from everything else is something you are doing. You are contracting moment to moment into identifying with thinking, identifying with the body, identifying with the idea of who you think yourself to be and how life is supposed to be. And this contraction blocks you from experiencing your true nature of peace. So then how do you stop this contraction? How do you stop creating this suffering?
Lets put it in 3 parts: The first is practice: spending time every day actively practicing a meditation technique.
The main reason for this is to focus your mind; to focus your attention. With focused attention, awareness begins to grow and you begin to experience life beyond the confines of the intellectual and emotional mind. Second is to immerse yourself in Shakti. Whether it is sitting with an enlightened teacher that radiates Shakti, and/or meditating with the Calling or Infinite Sky CDs, this Shakti will awaken you from the inside out, giving you a direct experience of bliss that is almost impossible to experience on your own. Third is to surrender, to allow your experience in this moment to be exactly as it is without trying to control it, change it or even identify with it. To experience this moment directly, without carrying your past around with you and believing yourself to be that. Let go of the idea of yourself and let your attention rest in the sensations that you feel in this moment instead of perceiving this moment through thinking. If you do these three things you will begin to feel alive in a way you never did before, you will begin to experience your true nature as peace. It is the difference between thinking about bliss and living as bliss itself. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. I have found a way to turn Kundalini Shakti into sound So simply by listening to meditation music you effortlessly awaken to your natural state of unconditional peace, bliss and freedom.

Breitenbush 01 - The Rains Retreat - The Journey Home by Eckhart Tolle |

Tape 5
(Continuation)
["May God grant us wisdom." That was a profound statement. I don't know if he himself wrote it, but he said it. (laughter) And it was good that he said it. He didn't say, "God grant us victory!" He could have said that.]
So, when death happens through violence through human unconsciousness, the danger is that the reactivity can pull you into the same unconsciousness as that original act of violence. That's the challenge that faces the nation as a whole. And it's an important one because there's still the momentum of human unconsciousness.
(jvs: I think it's save to say, that now ten years later looking back on the aftermath of 9/11, - with over 100,000 people killed in Afghanistan and Iraq - human unconsciousness is exactly what happened.)

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

The child and the bug
(denying the story?)
Yesterday's reflection pointed to the fact that separation happens merely because thought is believed. The story that there is a "child looking at a bug" creates a virtual reality in which it is believed that there is something called a "child" totally separate from something else called a "bug." This is what people experience when they tell the story that they are a separate person who needs to find some other thing called enlightenment, Oneness, or non-duality. The searching arises when the story arises. The search creates the separate self.
Does this mean that stories can or should be controlled or stopped? Only the story would seek to control the story. Simply see what is happening in this moment. Life is living itself. There is a presence that is awake to what is happening before thought provides a commentary. Stories arise beyond our control. When we seek to control the stories, we are seeking some illusory future state of "no thought." We are denying form.
When the stories are seen to be feeding the separate self, attachment to the stories dies. Life is no longer seen as a story in which you lack something called happiness, peace, or enlightenment that can be found in future. When there is no longer attachment to that story, the story may or may not continue to arise. In any event, it is realized that whatever it is that you are, you are already complete.

Chapter 4
Fact: Consciousness is the Infinite Itself
(Continuation...)
If you assume all this is abstract and has nothing to do with you, don't forget it's speaking of You. You are now reading about what really counts-the Infinite Conscious Presence You are-instead of the mere finite things you seem to be conscious of.
To mistakenly identify with finite things instead of as Infinite Consciousness, would be doing what? It would be needlessly subjecting oneself to all those finite limitations-when in fact as Consciousness, One is absolutely unlimited.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |
| | Michael Brown |
From PART V: 5. When we assist the body to heal itself by exercising a proper lifestyle and nutritional habits, it does so in an order of a priority determined by the consciousness of the body. Is there also an unfolding priority in neutralizing our negative emotional charge?(Continuation...)
By surrendering to the Process, which means following the instructions without meddling with them in any way, we open ourselves to an experience as described by this question; we witness our Inner Presence working according to an order of priority not initially appearing obvious or meaningful to us. In hindsight, our Inner Presence reveals itself as operating from pure incomprehensible genius. By not meddling via injected assumptions, we witness an intelligence moving systematically through the layers of our past, sometimes touching lightly on certain issues, then leaving them, and returning to them once again. Often this occurs chronologically, but not necessarily, because our Inner Presence does not operate from, nor is bound to, time-based orientation; it acts outside the spinning wheel of time. |

The Ease Of Being
(Continuation...)
[However, once it has been understood that all objects are like waves within Consciousness, that Consciousness takes the shape of every appearance, then 'I,' Consciousness, am the body. When the body is present it is Consciousness itself that is taking the shape of the body.]
However, in this case it is still true that 'I,' Consciousness, am not only the body. 'I' am also the world and everything else that is appearing in that moment. 'I' am the totality of whatever is appearing within me, but 'I' am also more than that, just as the ocean is more than the sum total of the waves. When no objects are present, Consciousness is naturally one with itself. When objects are present, Consciousness is naturally one with whatever is present.

Chapter 88
Knowledge by the Mind, is not True Knowledge
(Continuation...)
Q:How did the 'I am' appear?
M: In your world everything must have a beginning and an end. If it does not, you call it eternal. In my view there is no such thing as beginning or end -- these are all related to time. Timeless being is entirely in the now.
Q:The antahkarana, or the 'subtle body', is it real or unreal?
M:It is momentary. Real when present, unreal when over.
Q:What kind of reality? Is it momentary?
M:Call it empirical, or actual, or factual. It is the reality of immediate experience, here and now, which cannot be denied. You can question the description and the meaning, but not the event itself. Being and non-being alternate and their reality is momentary. The Immutable Reality lies beyond space and time. Realize the momentariness of being and non-being and be free from both.
