3 Steps to Awakening
"This experience of separation and stress, of being a person separate from everything else is something you are doing. You are contracting moment to moment into identifying with thinking, identifying with the body, identifying with the idea of who you think yourself to be and how life is supposed to be. And this contraction blocks you from experiencing your true nature of peace. So then how do you stop this contraction? How do you stop creating this suffering?
Lets put it in 3 parts: The first is practice: spending time every day actively practicing a meditation technique.
The main reason for this is to focus your mind; to focus your attention. With focused attention, awareness begins to grow and you begin to experience life beyond the confines of the intellectual and emotional mind. Second is to immerse yourself in Shakti. Whether it is sitting with an enlightened teacher that radiates Shakti, and/or meditating with the Calling or Infinite Sky CDs, this Shakti will awaken you from the inside out, giving you a direct experience of bliss that is almost impossible to experience on your own. Third is to surrender, to allow your experience in this moment to be exactly as it is without trying to control it, change it or even identify with it. To experience this moment directly, without carrying your past around with you and believing yourself to be that. Let go of the idea of yourself and let your attention rest in the sensations that you feel in this moment instead of perceiving this moment through thinking. If you do these three things you will begin to feel alive in a way you never did before, you will begin to experience your true nature as peace. It is the difference between thinking about bliss and living as bliss itself. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. I have found a way to turn Kundalini Shakti into sound So simply by listening to meditation music you effortlessly awaken to your natural state of unconditional peace, bliss and freedom.

Breitenbush 01 - The Rains Retreat - The Journey Home by Eckhart Tolle |

Tape 5
(Continuation)
[When you walk through an ancient forest so much decaying matter is everywhere which is life is inseparable from death in the ancient forest, death is inseparable from life.]
And this is true in a deeper sense also in as far as human death is concerned. Facing death completely is finding the life that is beyond form. Facing death close to you, facing death within yourself. So, there's a shift, if you can - those who can accept a deepening will happen, is happening already in the psyche. The other movement is an egoic reaction and let's just see which one predominates.

The child and the bug
A child looks at a bug with total curiosity. He isn't thinking about the bug. He has never seen a bug before. He has never learned the word bug. He can't call it an arachnid or some other classification either. He hasn't learned those words. He simply looks deeply at this strange and wonderful creature. No thought comes to the looking. There is only the looking. In that looking, there is no child. The idea I am a child looking at a bug doesn't even arise. It's a story, totally irrelevant to the looking. The story is a second hand account of something too intimate for words.
In that looking, before thought labels the experience and files it away as something known, there is an immediate presence that simply sees. This presence is not at all conceptual. It is the unknown. There is no word for it. Even the word presence is a story seen by this looking. It is what allows the bug to be seen. It is what allows the word child to be seen. It is what allows everything to be seen and to just be.
In realizing that this essence that is looking is what you really are, all suffering ends. Presence simply looks with innocence and intimacy. Concepts still arise. But you now know exactly what you are. No story will ever suffice again. This presence is your true identity.

Chapter 4
Fact: Consciousness is the Infinite Itself
(Continuation...)
Infinity, rightly known, isn't a long distance in space that goes on forever. It's not an enormous quantity in mathematics that one never comes to an end of counting. All such examples actually start out with finity and say infinity is an endless version of that. It's not. Such examples, while extreme, and beyond the capacity of human thought to fully grasp or contain, still would be in the realm of the finite, of some measurement. It would be like trying to measure the vast stellar universe, which although not possible to fully measure, can be partially measured.
Infinite means no measurement.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |
| | Michael Brown |
From PART V: 5. When we assist the body to heal itself by exercising a proper lifestyle and nutritional habits, it does so in an order of a priority determined by the consciousness of the body. Is there also an unfolding priority in neutralizing our negative emotional charge? Yes. This is a realization evident in hindsight. A wonderful metaphor to illustrate this systematic unravelling of our unresolved issues by our Inner Presence is reflected in attempting to untangle a ball of string nested with knots. When we give the tangled mess to a young child, they try, but do not succeed in untangling it, because they attempt to do so based on what visually appears to be the obvious cause of the knotted mess. When we spend time untangling anything, we know from experience that what often looks like the obvious place to begin is usually not. When it comes to untangling string, we have to carefully work around the various clusters of knots, pulling here, threading there, untwisting this; the process is not obvious. Decisions are moment by moment determined by previous accomplishments. Sometimes the smallest, most insignificant looking part of the tangle is the key to unravelling the entire mess.

The Ease Of Being
(Continuation...)
Without the recognition of the primacy and independence of Consciousness, there is nothing to suggest that there is anything more to experience than a continuous flow of appearances, and this understanding could be expressed as, 'There is only this,' meaning that there is only this current thought, sensation or perception. However, once it is established, in experience, that Consciousness exists prior to and independent of all appearances, it can be seen clearly that it is only Consciousness itself that takes the shape of the flow of appearances, in which case in the statement 'There is only this,' 'this' refers to Consciousness, not to objects. This distinction is the difference between solipsism and wisdom, although both can be expressed by the same statement. §

Chapter 88
Knowledge by the Mind, is not True Knowledge
Questioner:Do you experience the three states of waking, dreaming and sleeping just as we do, or otherwise?
Maharaj:All the three states are sleep to me. My waking state is beyond them. As I look at you, you all seem asleep, dreaming up words of your own. I am aware, for I imagine nothing. It is not samadhi which is but a kind of sleep. It is just a state unaffected by the mind, free from the past and future. In your case it is distorted by desire and fear, by memories and hopes; in mine it is as it is - normal. To be a person is to be asleep.
