Realizing the Nameless
"Someone sent me a beautiful email recently.
They said they were searching for something that they did not feel really had a name. Everyone is really looking for that same thing. That mystery which is fulfilment. But somewhere along the line most get caught up in defining it.
In calling it enlightenment or kundalini or stillness or no mind. And in naming it, you lose what you were looking for, you create a 'something' on top of what you were seeking in the first place. A something that is impossible to attain because it only exists in your idea of it. And then you get caught up in ideas, in knowledge, in spiritual quotes and inspirations. By trying to figure it out, you get further and further away from what you were seeking in the first place. But if you can just surrender back into not knowing, to observing & feeling this moment instead of interpreting,
then like a black hole that bliss that has no name drinks up all of the words, all of the noise.
It eats it all up until there is nothing left but that which cannot be defined.
And then that bliss is experienced in everything. Just by walking, just by breathing.
Breathing alone can be the most extraordinary experience if there is no mind there to interpret it. But it takes practice, it takes meditation By immersing yourself in shakti and meditation every day, everything becomes clear. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Tape 5 (Continuation...)
[And if it is the most dreadful thing there is then what is the point of doing anything, we're going to die anyway and we are condemned to death, it's just a condition of when, as we are on the level of form.]
Forms dissolve, and to stay with that fact and it's a shock when that happens, especially when it happens unexpectedly. Suddenly too, so many people and so close to you. It is not a rare event for so many people to die all at once, it just happened that it was so close to home, this time. In many parts of the world, every year, something like that and worse happens. Where thousands, hundreds of thousands, sometimes get killed violently but it seems much more distant. And so, it also happens here, continuously in car accidents, people are killed many thousands and thousands every year. But again that is so normal you hardly read...you only read about it in the local papers, a particular accident. The big papers don't talk about single car accidents. It's normal. Nobody questions it anymore.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

October 11th
The simple recognition of what is
In the search for enlightenment, a natural tendency of the dualistic mind is to analyze a teacher's words. The mind looks at information and compares it to previously learned information and then analyzes whether the new information is consistent with its stored memory. But this analysis is the seeking. The self - attachment to stored thought - is seeking to confirm itself, its own ideas.
This is pointing to something so obvious that, once it is realized, the tendency of the mind to attempt to grasp This dies. Pointers are intended to allow the mind to unravel its fixations and relax into the simple recognition of the space of now and everything that arises and falls in it - to the sound of a car going by, the sensation of breathing, a feeling arising and falling, a thought coming and going, the wiggling of a toe, or the sound of a friend's voice. It's that simple.
Even in that realization, the mind may continue to fixate. It wants to hold on tightly to its own interpretation of This. Instead of seeking This, it believes it has attained it. It starts to believe that its pointers are true and that others' pointers are not. It turns away from the simple recognition of what is and, instead, tries to own This on a personal level. No one owns This. This is simply what is.

Chapter 4
Fact: Consciousness is the Infinite Itself
(Continuation...)
[When you stop to consider it, every single thing supposedly experienced by the human mind and each of the five senses would be finite and observable-not just sticks, cupcakes, sounds and smells.]
Even things like temperature, electricity, and other forms of energy, while not seen by the eye, would be finite, measurable things. What about tiny cells and molecules, right down to human DNA and the smallest sub-atomic particles? That's really small. They're all finite too, because they involve a specific pattern of observable movement, or what scientists would call their vibration or frequency. While these obviously would be extremely difficult to detect or measure, they still have their characteristic form, pattern, or limits.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |
| | Michael Brown |
From PART V: 2. (Continuation...) Now that we contain a magnified explanation of what an authentic facilitator is, we may discover we are experiencing an adjustment in our perception of the people and circumstances in our life experience we initially ran towards for help, and then ran from back into hiding. While we live in a time-based paradigm, we all go through this dance on some level.

The Choice Of Freedom
(Continuation...)
[This little 'I' thought then vanishes before the next thought, 'Let's have some tea,' appears, and reappears again after it, to fill the gap.]
In this way innumerable 'I' thoughts are strung together and conceived, by a subsequent thought, to have existed as the permanent entity that is present between and behind all appearances.
However, it is Consciousness, not a separate entity, which is ever-present between and behind every perception.

Chapter 86
The Unknown is the Home of the Real
(Continuation...)
Q: You are always stressing the cognition aspect of reality. You hardly ever mention affection, and will -- never?
M: Will, affection, bliss, striving and enjoying are so deeply tainted with the personal, that they cannot be trusted. The clarification and purification needed at the very start of the journey, only awareness can give. Love and will shall have their turn, but the ground must be prepared. The sun of awareness must rise first -- all else will follow.

 From Above...
(Jordan highlights or comments on quotes from the teachings above.) |
Rupert Spira: "In this way innumerable 'I' thoughts are strung together and conceived, by a subsequent thought, to have existed as the permanent entity that is present between and behind all appearances."
Jordan: I think of this like a card deck of cartoons that you flip through and it makes a motion picture, and it's like every 15th card is one of 'me'. So that, when you fan through the deck there is a vanishing picture of 'me' behind it all.
