Realizing the Nameless
"Someone sent me a beautiful email recently.
They said they were searching for something that they did not feel really had a name. Everyone is really looking for that same thing. That mystery which is fulfilment. But somewhere along the line most get caught up in defining it.
In calling it enlightenment or kundalini or stillness or no mind. And in naming it, you lose what you were looking for, you create a 'something' on top of what you were seeking in the first place. A something that is impossible to attain because it only exists in your idea of it. And then you get caught up in ideas, in knowledge, in spiritual quotes and inspirations. By trying to figure it out, you get further and further away from what you were seeking in the first place. But if you can just surrender back into not knowing, to observing & feeling this moment instead of interpreting,
then like a black hole that bliss that has no name drinks up all of the words, all of the noise.
It eats it all up until there is nothing left but that which cannot be defined.
And then that bliss is experienced in everything. Just by walking, just by breathing.
Breathing alone can be the most extraordinary experience if there is no mind there to interpret it. But it takes practice, it takes meditation By immersing yourself in shakti and meditation every day, everything becomes clear. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Tape 5 (Continuation...)
[But it, really, it's all a way of running away from the fact of death that all forms are unstable.]
So, not to run away from it, or label it as the most dreadful thing, because if death is the most dreadful thing there is, then you're really in a bad way because (laughter) it's going to happen to you. And if it is the most dreadful thing there is then what is the point of doing anything, we're going to die anyway and we are condemned to death, it's just a condition of when, as we are on the level of form.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

October 10th
The ordinary and the extraordinary
The mind believes that enlightenment is something other than this present experience. It keeps looking for the next moment. It can't believe that enlightenment could be as simple as taking out the trash right now. Yet it is. Enlightenment is overlooked in each moment simply because we are expecting something extraordinary somewhere else, in some later experience.
Then one day, after all that movement towards some other moment in the future, the mind utterly fails. It sees that it cannot know. It gives up. It doesn't give up because some guru said that enlightenment happens when the mind gives up. It gives up because it sees that no matter what the question, the answer will not be enough.
When the mind fails, it is like falling into a ditch. A hand reaches to the water and mud. "What is this? It's like I've never seen this before. . . " All of a sudden the water and mud appear alive for the first time. "That's me. I am that water! I am this mud!"
Joy, love, wonder and innocence arise. The person who was looking for enlightenment drops away completely and all that is left is what was always here . . . this ordinary life in this moment. But now, because there is no one living it, and no one looking for some later moment, it is extraordinary.

Chapter 4
Fact: Consciousness is the Infinite Itself
(Continuation...)
[Don't be put off by either word. They're both rather simple.]
First of all, finite just means limited. It's not a specialized term only for scientists or mathematicians. According to the dictionary, finite comes from the words finire, or finis, which mean finish, or end. So if something is finite, it usually can be said to end at one point and start somewhere else, like that stick. Finite simply means it has limits or some type of form, and it can be measured.
When you stop to consider it, every single thing supposedly experienced by the human mind and each of the five senses would be finite and observable-not just sticks, cupcakes, sounds and smells.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |

From PART V: 2. (Continuation...) As it is stated in THE PRESENCE PROCESS that no facilitators are to be trained, it is done so with an absolute knowing that those of us who are selected for this task by Life always step forward without anyone's permission to do so; in one hand to carry the word, responsibility, in the other, consequence, and through it all to be carried only by God.

The Choice Of Freedom
(Continuation...)
[The 'I' in this stream of events is itself simply another appearance just like all the rest. The 'I' is the thought 'I.']
However, when the hearing of rain is present, the 'I' thought is not. Likewise when the thought 'Let's have some tea' is present, the 'I' thought is not. In between these two thoughts lies the timeless presence of Consciousness, the blue sky shining between the clouds. The 'I' thought is created to fill this interval, to impersonate the true 'I' of Consciousness. This little 'I' thought then vanishes before the next thought, 'Let's have some tea,' appears, and reappears again after it, to fill the gap.

Chapter 86
The Unknown is the Home of the Real
(Continuation...)
Q: All and sundry are urging me to meditate. I find no zest in meditation, but I am interested in many other things; some I want very much and my mind goes to them; my attempts at meditation are so half-hearted. What am I to do? M: Ask yourself: 'To whom it all happens?' Use everything as an opportunity to go within. Light your way by burning up obstacles in the intensity of awareness. When you happen to desire or fear, it is not the desire or fear that are wrong and must go, but the person who desires and fears. There is no point in fighting desires and fears which may be perfectly natural and justified; It is the person, who is swayed by them, that is the cause of mistakes, past and future. The person should be carefully examined and its falseness seen; then its power over you will end. After all, it subsides each time you go to sleep. In deep sleep you are not a self-conscious person, yet you are alive. When you are alive and conscious, but no longer self-conscious, you are not a person anymore. During the waking hours you are, as if, on the stage, playing a role, but what are you when the play is over? You are what you are; what you were before the play began you remain when it is over. Look at yourself as performing on the stage of life. The performance may be splendid or clumsy, but you are not in it, you merely watch it; with interest and sympathy, of course, but keeping in mind all the time that you are only watching while the play -- life -- is going on.
