Relax Into This Moment
"Relax into this moment. Not your idea of this moment but into feeling what is here beyond thinking. Keep your body still and really feel the sensation of being alive in this moment.
Let go of all ideas of what it might feel like or what you know it feels like and actually experience fresh and new the feeling of being alive in this very moment. Allow thinking to be as it is. There is no pushing anything away, but rather just relax into what is here without interpretation. You can see these two different experiences, the experience of this moment interpreted by your mind and the experience of this moment without interpretation but directly felt, directly experienced free from the mind. If you can really give your attention to feeling what is here beyond the thinking then you will begin to awaken to your natural state of peace, bliss and love.
You will begin to feel the difference between the controlled, separate and stressful experience of the mind, and the natural experience of freedom expressed as being alive in this moment. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Tape 5 (Continuation...)
I was walking in...two weeks...a week ago, 20 miles north of Los Angeles in a beautiful canyon and we entered...there was old abandoned house that had burned down, a huge big house burned down in the fifties with lots of little buildings also burned down. And a totally wild garden had grown, the original garden had become totally wild, just amazing to see. The huge banana trees, all totally wild...roof missing. And as we entered that piece of land where the house is, a sign was there - I call it a...it was put there by the city counsel...but I call it a sutra, scripture. "Danger, all structures are unstable." And it's so easy to lose sight of that fact of how unstable all forms are. Because, when the form dissolves you're faced with the fact of death.

Seeing beyond dualistic emotions
A negative emotion is an alarm bell revealing that there is attachment to some story in time happening. If resentment, sadness, guilt, or shame arises, notice that a story of past is happening. If anxiety or fear arises, notice that thought is telling a story of future. When anger or frustration arises, notice that there is a story of resistance to now happening (e.g., the driver in front of you is not doing what you want her to do).
Awakening presents the opportunity to see that these stories are arising now. You aren't actually visiting the past or future. There is simply thinking arising in timelessness. Suffering is an illusion of thought.
Liberation is not about removing emotions or thoughts. It is not about destroying the ego. Only ego would seek to destroy ego. Liberation is about seeing how attachment to these stories in time creates suffering.
In seeing that this thought life is keeping a dualistic, time-bound, self-centered story alive, the possibility of liberation from suffering arises. In that seeing, attachment to these stories and their accompanying emotions dissolves on its own. Liberation is not about replacing the negative stories and emotions with positive ones. It is about seeing what is actually happening in ëyour' mental and emotional world. Peace, love, and joy arise in that seeing. These attributes of peace, love, and joy exist beyond dualistic emotions.

Chapter 4 FACT: CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE INFINITE ITSELF (Continuation...)
The other sensations of taste and smell also are distinct, observable forms even though they can't be seen or touched (compare the taste and scent of a chocolate cupcake to those of an onion). The sense of sound can't be seen either, but suppose you tapped that stick on the ground like a drumbeat. That rhythmic sound would be a noticeable pattern or form, quite distinct from a telephone ring, or a balloon popping. The point is, each of the five types of sensation that the mind experiences is an observable, noticeable form, though the sensation is not always a visible object, or made of "solid matter."

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |
| | Michael Brown |
From PART V: 2. (Continuation...)
This is why The Presence Process is not one of those modalities in which we scan the health section of the newspaper or a magazine to locate a registered facilitator, or in which we do a course and qualify to undertake this role. We can only learn how to facilitate ourselves by taking the actions to establish an intimate relationship with our Inner Presence. |

The Choice Of Freedom
(Continuation...)
The feeling that we have the freedom to make a choice is a pale and usually misinterpreted reflection of this intuitive knowledge of our own innate freedom.
As a reflection of real freedom it is true. Only the interpretation that this freedom is the freedom of an individual entity is false.
This exploration of the nature of experience takes place within Consciousness and is an expression of Consciousness.

Chapter 86
The Unknown is the Home of the Real
(Continuation...)
Q: How do I know who is wise and who is merely clever? M: If your motives are pure, if you seek truth and nothing else, you will find the right people. Finding them is easy, what is difficult is to trust them and take full advantage of their advice and guidance.
