Realizing Nothing "If you really look, you will see you are avoiding this moment, you are avoiding experiencing this moment. It is not that you are somewhere else and you have to get back to here, it is that you are actively avoiding this moment. If you can really be honest and see this reflex of avoiding this moment, then you can really begin to let it go and drop into this moment. You can begin to let go of thinking and experience what is here. Our problems make us important. Our knowledge makes us important. They keep us separated from this moment. We hold on to our problems and what we know because we are scarred of the nothingness underneath it.
We are afraid of being nothing, of being nobody. We hold on to hope and improvement and 'feel good' quotes because the present moment is too vast and empty.
Yet the very thing we keep avoiding is the very thing we are seeking. The moment you give it all up and fully immerse yourself in what is really here, there is unconditional peace.
The silence of this moment completes you. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Tape 5 (Continuation...)
[On the one hand it may be very useful and nice but every creation of the egoic mind has its downside.]
If you look at medicine, modern mainstream medicine, incredible things, beautiful great inventions. And in the 19th century we still believed that there was no downside, medicine was progressing further and further. And now we see that there is a huge downside in the way in which mainstream medicine has developed. Oh, what are we doing? Antibiotics, soon they may not work any more, through over use.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

Do emotions go away?
During the spiritual search, there can be an erroneous belief that, in enlightenment, feelings go away and nothing is felt. This is a false myth.
In the so-called egoic state, the dream self tends to avoid and escape emotions. You take drugs, drink alcohol, eat too much, work too much, engage in activity that keeps the mind stimulated, strategize about the future, exert control, complain, blame, or otherwise think or act your way out of feeling emotions directly. The movie of self is directed at avoiding what is in this moment. It is only natural that the movie would imagine enlightenment to be the ultimate method of escaping emotions.
Enlightenment is a natural state in which emotions are felt directly and immediately in the moment they arise. There isn't a "you" choosing to feel emotions. They simply arise fully in awareness. You no longer feed the story of time, which is the story of self. Feelings are not accumulated along a time-bound storyline. They are allowed to come and go freely. There is no person there attempting to avoid, escape, or analyze them.
In awakening, anything is possible in the opening known as "you." There can be awakeness to a moment of emotional explosion or to a moment of no feeling whatsoever. Everything is allowed. Nothing is pushed away.

Chapter 12
FACT: CONSCIOUSNESS
IS WHAT THE PRESENT IS
(Continuation...)
As said before, what appears outwardly to the senses as a solid, stationary body and matter, in its essence would be cells, which are said to consist of molecules, which in turn are said to consist of atomic particles, energy or vibration. At this level, this "stuff" is in a non-stop state of motion and reaction in never-present time. This movement appears to occur on a scale so small and fast that, relative to the ability of the senses to perceive this activity, it seems present, solid and stationary to the senses. It's because the sense organs of sight and touch themselves would be made of the exact same vibrating "stuff"-moving right in step with it.

Excerpts From "Being Our Companion: Exploring Self-Facilitation Through The Presence Process"
The Presence Portal |
| | Michael Brown |
From PART V: 2. (Continuation...)
He (Jesus) is one of the most profound examples of an authentic facilitator witnessed by humanity in our limited recorded history. Did He leave peace on earth in His wake? No, this was not His intention. No authentic facilitator intends peace on earth; they teach us to be at peace within ourselves as we walk the earth. To this day His momentary Presence, timed to deliver humanity into The Piscean Age, continues to wield a sword that brings fire and war to any individual or community attaching itself to an illusion of what they are, and therefore, what God is.

Consciousness Is Self-Luminous
When a physical object is placed in front of a mirror, it colours the mirror and this colouring of the mirror seems to give the mirror object-like qualities. The mirror seems to take on the qualities of whatever is being reflected within it.
When the physical object vanishes the mirror again becomes colourless. In fact it was always only this.

Chapter 86
The Unknown is the Home of the Real
(Continuation...)
Q:What you say is true, but what can I do about it? Such indeed is the situation. My helplessness and dullness are a part of it.
M:Good enough. Look at yourself steadily -- it is enough. The door that locks you in, is also the door that lets you out. The 'I am' is the door. Stay at it until it opens. As a matter of fact, it is open, only you are not at it. You are waiting at the non-existent painted doors, which will never open.
