Realizing Nothing "If you really look, you will see you are avoiding this moment, you are avoiding experiencing this moment. It is not that you are somewhere else and you have to get back to here, it is that you are actively avoiding this moment. If you can really be honest and see this reflex of avoiding this moment, then you can really begin to let it go and drop into this moment. You can begin to let go of thinking and experience what is here. Our problems make us important. Our knowledge makes us important. They keep us separated from this moment. We hold on to our problems and what we know because we are scarred of the nothingness underneath it.
We are afraid of being nothing, of being nobody. We hold on to hope and improvement and 'feel good' quotes because the present moment is too vast and empty.
Yet the very thing we keep avoiding is the very thing we are seeking. The moment you give it all up and fully immerse yourself in what is really here, there is unconditional peace.
The silence of this moment completes you. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Tape 5 (Continuation...)
[...creation arises out of the fullness of life that you already are and when you know yourself to be that fullness that expresses itself in that way.]
So, no need behind it, simply a celebration of the fullness that you already are. And then creations are no longer karmic creations, they have no karmic consequences. Whereas, mentally created things, egoically, mentally created - whatever the egoic mind creates has a big downside. On the one hand it may be very useful and nice but every creation of the egoic mind has its downside.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

September 18th
What do 'you' really want?
What do you really want? Whatever you really want is reflected in your life right now.
You may say you want freedom or peace. Look more closely. Are you surrounded by material things or constantly worried about debt? Are you seeking to be right and to have your ideas prevail in conversations with others? Are you looking for others to be different than the way they are? Are you always seeking something other than what actually is in this moment? Are you constantly looking for validation, attention, praise, acknowledgement, and love?
The mind is deceptive. It makes claims about wanting peace or freedom. Despite its claims, what you really want is showing up in your life right now.
Once you see what your life is actually telling you about what is really important to you, the possibility of seeing self-deception arises. Enlightenment is a demolition project. It reveals that the self is nothing more than a set of stories.
No matter how strongly you claim to want freedom or peace, the circumstances in your life reveal the actual stories you are buying into. If you are worrying about money, arguing with others, seeking praise from others, or constantly wanting to be right, those are the things most important to you. Those are the things you really want. What you want is reflected in your life right now. That seeing allows true freedom and peace. All else is self-deception.

Chapter 12
FACT: CONSCIOUSNESS
IS WHAT THE PRESENT IS
(Continuation...)
It is thanks to being Ever-Present Consciousness, pure Being, that You are not moving in step with this never-present time activity, and can see it for what it is, or rather, isn't.
In response, the would-be sensing "mind" may then try to say, "Yes, I understand that intellectually, but my body certainly is still being, is still present right here, solid as ever; so is this book, the room, and everything else." But is it really?

From PART V: 2. (Continuation...)
No one taught Jesus how to accomplish this; He was born into it. His life experience and how He responded to it qualified Him for His destined role. This is why He was disliked by the establishment; not because he was a nice person to be around, but because His level of honesty was not appreciated by those who paid homage to the living but not to Life. Jesus was and is still a mirror; He remains powerful because, in terms of being a personality, He does not exist. He died to personality before He began facilitating the world. He appeared as what His disciples and those who came to Him for guidance needed to perceive of themselves to achieve authenticity.

Chapter 86
The Unknown is the Home of the Real
(Continuation...)
Q:How does a genuine crisis happen?
M:It happens every moment, but you are not alert enough. A shadow on your neighbor's face, the immense and all-pervading sorrow of existence is a constant factor in your life, but you refuse to take notice. You suffer and see others suffer, but you don't respond.
