How to Deal With Upheaval

"First, realize
that someone or something
is not making you feel this way.

You are feeling this way
out of a reaction
to what is happening.
Blaming only keeps
you unconscious.

Second,
be honest and
accept what you feel,
this is most important.

Don't try and create
"positive emotions."
This is just the ego
trying to impose something
it thinks should be here
on top of what is really here.

You have to really
allow yourself to feel
what is honestly here and accept it.

Perhaps at first what you feel
will go and you will find
a whole new set of thoughts
and feelings underneath it.

Such as if you feel angry
at someone for treating
you a certain way,

after allowing that anger
you may realize that
the anger was there
because you did not want
to accept the feelings
of rejection
and loneliness
that were really there.

So allow yourself to feel that,
without trying to change it,
get rid of it, figure it out,
understand it, even own it.

Just allow yourself to feel
what is here as sensation.

Accept that this is
what simply is
in this moment.

There is no doing involved
it is simply what is here.

If you do this,
you will instantly feel peace.
The moment you accept
and allow yourself to experience
even the first emotion,
there is peace.

And as you allow,
and feel what is here,
ultimately what you will find
that is here is sensation,
the sensation of energy moving,
and that is bliss,
that is love.

So you see
what you are really doing
through surrender and feeling
is moving beyond the mind,
moving beyond
the thinking and the emotions
to what is really here,
to what is here before
the mind labels it and judges it.

You will feel humbled
by what is here,
you will feel completely
vulnerable to what is here,

but in this way,
you awaken to peace,
you awaken to love;
not as something
that you try to do,
but you awaken to
what is always already here.

Then you will experience
everything as the same bliss.
You will feel the bliss in resentment,
the bliss in rejection,
the bliss in loneliness,
the bliss in happiness.
It is all the same bliss.

It is all the same flow
of energy.

It is simply a matter of
truly allowing yourself
to feel what is here
without trying to change it
in any way.

Blessings,

Kip"

Q:  So, then a couple of things.  The body, if you want to call it that becomes everything.

ET:  There's no longer a distinction between inner and outer.  I'd mentioned earlier this morning, it's almost a sense that there's nothing outside of you when there's no longer the separation through mental concepts, which is form, the clarity of perception, is no longer the 'me' and the world.  This the fluidity.  It's all me.

Aliveness in the body

Noticing what is happening in the body does not simply awaken you to the life all around you.  It awakens you to the realization that you are life itself.

The aliveness in your body is there to wake you up out of the dream of a separate self.  Feel the sensations throughout the body no matter what you are doing.  Notice that there is always a sense of aliveness within.  Aliveness cannot be found in time or manufactured.  It is what is already happening within the body right now.

If anger or fear arises, notice it without judgment.  If judgments about these emotions arise, simply notice them also.  Notice that these thoughts and emotions are harmless when they are seen the moment they arise.

This is not a prescription to engage in a spiritual practice.  This is an invitation to notice what is already being done.  Are you 'doing' emotions?  They are arising involuntarily and spontaneously, aren't they?  If you had a choice, would you choose fear or anger?

Are you 'doing' aliveness?  The aliveness in your body, from your feet to your head, is just happening.  You aren't bringing it about.  Simply notice the aliveness that is already happening.  Notice that this aliveness is everywhere, not just in the body.  In that noticing, life is waking up to itself as One Life.

Chapter 12

FACT: CONSCIOUSNESS

IS WHAT THE PRESENT IS

(Continuation...)

It is impossible to be more alive in a future. Why? Because a future never is present to be alive in. Only the Present is present, which is the entirety of Life, and changelessly so.

This also is why it is impossible to evolve to or become Consciousness, the One I Am, in a future. The One I Am is present Now, never in a future. This Present Consciousness is the Whole of I Am. There never will be more of what I Am beyond this Present Consciousness.

From PART V: 2.

(Continuation...)

When in the healing industry or the business of spirituality we do our best to portray an untarnished reputation of goodness, and what we think is compassion, because these are good business ethics. The catch-22 is, the moment we turn healing, or any aspect of our spirituality, into an industry or business, we turn our inner propensity for being a prophet to others into making a profit out of others, and hence render ourselves immune from being authentic, let alone facilitators.

Peace And Happiness Are Inherent In Consciousness

(Continuation...)

Of course, it is also present during the agitation itself as it is the background of all states, but it is not experienced as such.

This desire for Happiness does not come from memory. Happiness cannot be remembered for it has no objective qualities. It is inherent in Consciousness, which in its unmanifest condition is objectless, such as in the experience of deep sleep.

Chapter 85

'I am': The Foundation of all Experience

(Continuation...)

[A day comes when the entire enterprise is seen as false and given up. The central point is no more and the universe becomes the centre.]

Q: Yes, maybe. But what am I to do now?

M: Assiduously watch your ever-changing life, probe deeply into the motives beyond your actions and you will soon prick the bubble in which you are enclosed. A chic needs the shell to grow, but a day comes when the shell must be broken. If it is not, there will be suffering and death.
