Going Beyond Content
"In meditation
we are simply noticing that everything is. It is not the 'everything' that is important, it is the is-ness itself that is the key.
The mind is always caught up in the content.
But awareness only experiences the essence. Whether there is anger or a thought of a chocolate brownie or a heavy rain outside.
All of these things are of the same energy.
They exist out of life itself, the one energy that is animating everything. And even in saying this the mind is agreeing or disagreeing. The mind is relating to the words as content. It is trying to comprehend something that cannot really be put in words in the first place. All the words can really do is point and it is up to you whether you give your attention to where the words are pointing or you get caught up in the content of the words.
And if you give your attention to where the words are pointing, then you move beyond words; you move beyond content and rest in that which cannot really be described. So there is this shift that needs to happen, to move beyond trying to experience things with the intellect or emotion to experiencing what is here beyond intellect and emotion. To realizing the is-ness of everything. It is not that thinking has to stop, it is that you stop being transfixed by the content of the thinking and realize that which is always animating the content, that which is making the content possible in the first place. The conscious ever flowing energy that is bliss itself. Blessings, Kip" Please Note: My main teaching is for you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Shakti - the energy one naturally radiates in the highest states of enlightenment. Tape 5 (Continuation...)
[The suchness of this moment is that there's a movement of turbulence, pain in some form.]
And then it quickly passes when there's no longer that identification with mind anymore.
You may experience interesting things like what before was a heavy drama episode in your life when you were identified with pain-body could now be a quick movement through your energy field of pain, let's say it's anger, and you receive a quick flash of 'arrrgh' moving through you and it lasts for a minute, two minutes, five minutes or ten seconds.
It's gone.

Reflections of the One Life: Daily Pointers to Enlightenment by Scott Kiloby by BookSurge Publishing Paperback ~ release Date: 2009-08-10

August 8th Enlightenment for no one With respect to enlightenment, thought says, "I have it" or "I don't have it." Those are dualistic ideas. The mind can get lost not only in the search for enlightenment but also in the false idea that it has attained it. Enlightenment reveals that there is no separate self except as a dream of thought. A self can only consider itself enlightened if it sees others who are not. The idea that I am or am not enlightened is just more separation. Enlightenment is for no one. It is absolute liberation that no time-bound, egoic self could ever know. No story of self reaches enlightenment. That self is just a story of time, which means a story of mind. That story is doing everything it can to avoid this moment (i.e., to avoid enlightenment). Its main goal is to stay in separation - to be someone in relation to, better than, less than, or more spiritual than the others. It accomplishes this by staying locked in thought, in time. When that movement of self is seen to be nothing more than thought, something beyond thought recognizes itself. That which wakes up is what you really are. It knows no separation. In this seeing, there is no longer the belief in a separate self who needs to tell stories about being enlightened or not being enlightened. |

FACT: THERE IS NOTHING GREATER THAN CONSCIOUSNESS
RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE CONSCIOUS.
(Continuation...)
Pure Awareness is not a trend, not "spiritually cool," not a hot money-making opportunity. Awareness doesn't see Itself as being in vogue at the start of a millennium, nor think of Itself as a new paradigm. It holds no pre-conceived notions, but simply is aware, present. So read as a "clean slate" of pure Awareness. Read as if never aware before, but now only. Only this is what Consciousness Itself is.
While reading, a particular point may make a strong impact. Perhaps "a light will go on." Meanwhile, the next sentence beckons you to continue right on reading. Don't.

PART V: QUESTIONS ASKED AFTER COMPLETING THE PRESENCE PROCESS2. THE PRESENCE PROCESS states there is no intention to train facilitators in this procedure, why is this? (Continuation...)
Because of The Dark Age of linear time-based living, it is not apparent to us yet that everything we seek is found within us. We also do not realize that everything manufactured by humanity and manifested outwardly into the world comes from within us, or that the world is a mirror reflecting our collective internal condition.

Peace And Happiness Are Inherent In Consciousness
(Continuation...)
A thought, a sensation, a perception and a dream are all made out of the same 'stuff' and they all appear in the same space. They are made out of and appear within the same Consciousness, and it is this same Consciousness that is present during the gaps between appearances and during objectless deep sleep.
As the object changes or leaves, either during each state or during the transition between states, the Consciousness that is present behind the object as its witness and within the object as its substance, remains exactly as it always is, ever-present and unchanged. Any changes that are experienced in the body, mind or world are changes that appear to this Consciousness.

Chapter 84
Your Goal Is Your Guru
(Continuation...)
Q: When I meet a European with some education and talk to him about a Guru and his teachings, his reaction is: 'the man must be mad to teach such nonsense.' What am I to tell him?
M: Take him to himself. Show him, how little he knows about himself, how he takes the most absurd statements about himself for holy truth. He is told that he is the body, was born, will die, has parents, duties, learns to like what others like and fears. Totally a creature of hereditary and society, he lives by memory and acts by habits. Ignorant of himself and his true interests, he pursues false aims and is always frustrated. His life and death are meaningless and painful, and there seems to be no way out. Then tell him, there is a way out within his easy reach, not a conversion to another set of ideas, but liberation from all ideas and patterns of living. Don't tell him about Gurus and disciples -this way of thinking is not for him. His is an inner path; he is moved by an inner urge and guided by an inner light. Invite him to rebel and he will respond. Do not try to impress on him that so -and-so is a realized man and can be accepted as a Guru. As long as he does not trust himself, he cannot trust another. And confidence will come with experience.

 From Above...
(Jordan highlights or comments on quotes from the teachings above |
Eckhart Tolle: "You may experience interesting things like what before was a heavy drama episode in your life when you were identified with pain-body could now be a quick movement through your energy field of pain,..."
Jordan: I get this a lot. Don't know if it is from following this teaching or simply getting older. +++++
Michael Brown: We also do not realize that 'everything' manufactured by humanity and manifested outwardly into the world comes from within us, or that the world is a mirror reflecting our 'collective' internal condition.
Jordan: Two key words are 'everything' and 'collective.'
Everything - means everything.
Collective-internal-condition - I guess that means all of us. +++++ |
