Perfect Bliss

"Self acceptance
is the beginning
of true meditation.

When you fully allow
everything to be
exactly as it is
then you transcend
that level of experience.

You allow the body to
be as it is
and your awareness
expands beyond the body.

You allow the emotions
to be as they are
and your awareness
expands beyond emotion.

You allow thoughts to
be as they are,
and your awareness
expands beyond the thinking.

If there is any urge
to change something,
improve something,
then there is conflict
and you remain stuck
in that which you wish
to change.

Many see happiness
as some future goal:
'If I can heal my emotions,
if I can stop reacting in this way,
if I can be free of these memories,
if I can stop my thoughts
then I will be happy.'

And so there are all
of these different modes
of healings and therapies
and belief systems
giving you the illusion that
if you just work on yourself
hard enough and long enough
then you can be a perfect person.

And nothing could be farther
from the truth.

I am not knocking
self improvement,
it has its purpose,
but it also gives you the illusion
that some time in the future
you will be good enough.

Which means you are not
good enough now.

The underlying
condition of self improvement
is that how you are in this moment
is wrong.

You are a glitch in the system
and you need to be fixed.

Yet from your natural state
of pure awareness
everything is perfect
as it is.

Not as a judgment
but as an obvious truth.

So when you enter meditation,
accept yourself as you are.

This is not
'I love myself as I am'
or any other psychological therapy.

It is to accept everything as it is
all the way to the core.

You let it all be exactly as it is
without any involvement.

You let go of trying
to do it,
trying to control it
and allow that
which cannot be known
to take over.

Because then you relax into
the essence of that experience.

And the essence
of all experience
is consciousness.

One all encompassing
perfect consciousness
that lights up the whole show.

That is
the whole show.

And the nature
of consciousness
is bliss.

Perfect bliss.

Blessings,

Kip"

[And you don't have to wait to be free.]

"When am I going to be free?"

In its own time when the energy has been transmuted and has become freed.

And the amazing thing is, when you begin to put your attention on it.  Something happens.

The energy field of the attention and the trapped energy in the pain-body.

And the attention actually...instead of the pain-body feeding on attention - it can't - the attention feeds on the pain-body.

One could say, it's like the pain-body is the coal and the attention is the fire.

Who claims to be enlightened?

Who would claim to be enlightened?  Who would claim that there is no self, or that all is One?  Would who claim to have no beliefs?  Only a thought-based, time-bound story of self would claim any of these things, falsely believing that the timeless truth to which the words are pointing can be owned by an entity living in time.  In enlightenment, there is nothing to claim and no one to claim it.  Enlightenment is seeing through the identification with things including spiritual ideas.  Such ideas are of the past.  To hold onto them now is to create and maintain a time-bound story.

In the realization that there is nothing to hold onto and no one to hold onto anything, real freedom is available.  This freedom cannot be owned by a story of time.  The self who loves to hang onto spiritual ideas hates this message.  This message threatens its most precious ideas about non-duality or enlightenment.  But they are just memorized ideas.

In seeing that the person who would try to own these ideas is also just an idea, the possibility for real liberation and love arises.  This is a liberation and love that no self can claim to have.  It is free of clinging to spiritual ideas including the concepts of liberation and love.  This is a presence that uses any and all words to express itself but that is attached to none of them.

FACT: THERE IS NOTHING GREATER THAN CONSCIOUSNESS

RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE CONSCIOUS.

(Continuation...)

That simple switch in identification is profound. You are not the mind. Thinking and sensing are what you appear to use, or do-they're not what you are as pure Conscious Awareness.

The would-be thinking "mind" always has considered what it senses and experiences in the passage of time to be reality. Now you seem to do an about-face. You don't identify with a state of sensing and thinking that always is passing and never being. You identify as pure Conscious Being, or what really is, the Real. That which passes on the level of the sensing, thinking "time-mind" now is seen in the correct light-as what really is not, or what is not real.

Another doubting thought may come, "Don't tell me the things I sense aren't real or aren't being. I sense this book right now. I even sense the planet earth right now. I see it now, and I even could reach down and touch it now-so don't tell me the book, the earth, and all those sensations aren't genuinely present."

PART V: QUESTIONS ASKED AFTER COMPLETING THE PRESENCE PROCESS

1. A friend is struggling with their life experience, how do we  persuade them to do The Presence Process?

(Continuation...)

The pull to accomplish emotional growth, and the will to move through the challenges it places before us, come from within. We cannot enter The Presence Process, or any emotional growth procedure, as a reaction to others, or because we are persuaded by others. There is no harm in handing them a copy of THE PRESENCE PROCESS and suggesting they might benefit from reading it, as long as we take this action unconditionally.

Peace And Happiness Are Inherent In Consciousness

(Continuation...)

A state is something that lasts for a certain period of time. It comes and goes. It would be more accurate to say that there is one condition, one ever-present condition, which we call 'I,' Consciousness, Presence, in which all apparent states come and go.

The apparent states of waking and dreaming are modulations of this one Presence.

Deep sleep is in fact simply the presence of Consciousness shining by itself. That is why it is so peaceful and enjoyable!

Chapter 84

Your Goal Is Your Guru

(Continuation...)

Q:  I know only my conditioned existence; there is nothing else.

M:  Surely, you cannot say so.  In deep sleep you are not conditioned.  How ready and willing you are to go to sleep, how peaceful, free and happy you are when asleep.

Q:  I know nothing of it.

M:  Put it negatively.  When you sleep, you are not in pain, nor bound, nor restless.

Rupert Spira:  "Deep sleep is in fact simply the presence of Consciousness shining by itself. That is why it is so peaceful and enjoyable!"

Jordan:  I don't know this for sure, but my hunch is that sleeping medications tend to dull the shining.

Nisargadatta:  "Put it negatively.  When you sleep, you are not in pain, nor bound, nor restless."

Jordan:  These are complementary.
